This guy let the cops stop traffic which put them in the road and said nothing to stop that.

It's called logic. Learn it, live it, love it.

ROTFLOL You're not serious are you?

In front of the media inquisitors? Good for him. He responded to the treasonous MSM leeches which is far more than they deserve.

Oh brother.

Apparently he is serious, I called him on it, but apparently he believes if someone actually does their job, then it's someone elses fault that they had to do their job so anything bad that happens when they do their job is to be the entirely the fault of the person causing someone to do their job. Yes it is that circular, I'm done with it, hopeless.

Good news! Doctor Raoul has actually seen people come along and claim their suspected bombs in the middle of a Secret Service investigation involving the Washington DC Police, and the bomb squad ready to blow up their backpack! Everything turned out fine!

So please, move along! Nothing the see here!

ROTFLOL You're not serious are you?

Serious as a heart attack. As a youngster, there was a friend of the family who I'd see at wakes, weddings, Holy Communions and alike that was in a wheelchair because he lost both legs.

He was a firefighter and back in the 60s, they rode on the back of the apparatus instead of inside a crew cab like today. Responding to a FALSE ALARM, a woman didn't STAY BACK 500 FEET and her Olds plowed into the back of the truck. He lost his legs. Another firefighter died.

There was no fire, just like there was no bomb, but the person who pulled that fire box put that apparatus on the road with tragic consequences.

Why don't your three get a hotel room and share a Snickers bar.

You seem to need each other's company. ("Yeah, what he said..." and all.)

Fire fighter fight fires, that's their job. When an arsonist causes a firefighter to "do their job" and the firefighter dies in that fire, the charge is murder.

When a crossing guard gets hit by a car, do you charge the children with murder because they are the ones who made them do their job?

I should have known you worked for the Mar's Candy company! This was all an elaborate add for Snickers! Clever! I personally don't think it was as cool of a campaign as the ATHF light boards, nor as wide reaching. But definitely guerilla! Nice that you are sticking with the Mar's policy of homophobia too! Are you corporate or just a third party marketing firm? My lawyer wants to know. This kind of guerilla marketing hoax is highly profitable to lawyers these days...

I guess the Snickers bar thing is going right over my head. I don't have the slightest idea what that has to do with bomb paranoia or queers.

That has exactly zero to do with anything I posted.

You can't be that stupid.

If a freeman or policeman dies in the line of duty at an arson fire, yes, the perp gets charged with murder.

Till you can grasp that fact, we'll just put the other two voices in your head on hold. Have them go offline and talk to each other.

We weren't talking about a fire, we were talking about policemen stopping traffic.

My comparison of children being responsible for a crossing guard getting hit is an equal comparison to you blaming the sign hangers for a policeman getting hit by traffic. Much more so than your strawman fireman/arsonist comparison.

If a policeman is hit stopping traffic for a car wreck do you blame the accident victim? If a policeman is struck by a passing car during a traffic stop do you blame the motorist he pulled over? In all those cases the fault for the injured cop goes to the operator of the vehicle that struck him. Just as it would for policemen risking their very lives to stop traffic for this advertising campaign.

"This guy let the cops stop traffic "

An interesting thing about Massachusetts, Dr Raoul, is that it;s the ONLY state in the union that uses police as flagmen and standarounds at construction sites and road repair. No police detail, no road construction, it's the law (and 6.5 million of union enforced overtime for the Big Dig last year alone).

So it's pretty common to have a Mass cop out in traffic, where in other states there would be none.

So I think they operate with a different standard there when it comes to putting police at risk- it's policy.

The bomb squad had to respond to two other real hoax bombs the same day, though, and they handled these with professionalism and bravery. One was a fake pipe bomb, and walking up to a pipe, tape, and timer has got to take guts. Although this one looked like a classic case, they did not know it was fake until they deactivated it.

It's common around here too. But not mandatory by law.

We weren't talking about a fire, we were talking about policemen stopping traffic.

Keep up or take notes.

It's not about firemen, police or crossing guards and whether they take risks in the normal course of their duties. It's about public safety officers being put in harm's way unnecessarily.

Your house catchs fire, a fireman dies, you don't get a murder charge. Burn your house and a fireman dies, you get charged. You put a cop in a situation they don't have to be in and they die, tag, you're it.

And neither one of the arrestees were guilty of the charges.

It's a tough ol' world sometimes.
