you can get a legal gun in NYC - it's not easy (from what I understand), especially for carry, but it is possible. So, again, how do you reconcile that with the 2nd Amendment?
To: Howlin; DKNY; narses
This is a question he's going to have to answer. He got a couple college deferments, that's normal, particularly in view of the field he's running against. McCain won't raise the issue. But my understanding his last and apparently final deferment was a "judicial" deferment, at the request of a federal judge. As someone who enjoyed four years of college deferments before enlisting, I remember a bit about deferments, and I never heard of that. It may be neither I nor my friends knew judges, or didn't pay attention, but it's a question he should answer. Again, in this field, i don't think it will be an issue.

What a barf fest this has been to see so many freepers falling for Rudy I'm glad you said SO MANY. Yes!
Luckily, there are relatively FEW (look at the recent FR poll) of these weak-minded RINO-rudy-rooters, but ONE is TOO MANY.
For the majority of us TRUE CONSERVATIVES, Just say NO to any and all RINOs.

You said voting record. Those aren't votes.
Then again, that distinction may be too subtle...

Because he knows that Rudy actually picked up 5,000,000 conservatives tonight.

I still think Rudy lost at least 5,000,000 conservatives tonight. Sounds like it was not pretty? Sorry I missed it and I gotta sleep. Maybe I can catch the rerun on XM.

I don't know who posted it, I just read you explaining it to peach and thought you might want to know that to homosexuals its a good thing.
If someone posted it in reference to Rudys stand on homosexual marriage ,he/she was making a "funny " point. Wish I could have seen it.
Course I like making fun of those perverts.
To: narses
So what? He has a right to say his piece, just as the rest of us have the right to say ours. And until THAT rule changes, WE SHALL!

The base... the conservative right wing, of which I am a proud member, will never support Rudy. Ask Ann Coulter. Would you vote for Duncan Hunter? I feel he is the most conservative candidate so far.
Polly.... who is also a proud member of the " right wing"!

No, I am responding to your statement; I respect the intelligence of my freeper buds.
You seem to be backing Rudy, is that correct? You like Rudy. That's your perogative, as is mine to not like anyone I choose.

THese fox news alerts can be quite silly at times...

Non NYers here don't realize how many court cases Rudy had to fight, against these ACLU judges, to implement reforms in the city. moving the homeless out of train stations - lawsuit. stop and frisk tactics by the police - lawsuit (still ongoing today, Al Sharpton is trying again, because most african-americans are stopped). and on and on, it was just endless. every move he made was challenged in the courts by the left.
To: Enduring Freedom
Welcome aboard! I have a feeling many more are going to join.

Rudy was tested and was supurb on 9/11. College deferments won't make a bit of difference.
To: DocH
You are a nasty, unhappy person aren't you??
To: Reagan Man
"LOL Sean Hannity is a sell out. He is a RINO lover. First Ahnold and now Rudy. Pathetic."
His "interview" following Rudy with Schumer was no better. Who put Sean on a leash? Or is he just partial to New Yorkers no matter how liberal or what party they belong to?
