Non NYers here don't realize how many court cases Rudy had to fight, against these ACLU judges, to implement reforms in the city. moving the homeless out of train stations - lawsuit. stop and frisk tactics by the police - lawsuit (still ongoing today, Al Sharpton is trying again, because most african-americans are stopped). and on and on, it was just endless. every move he made was challenged in the courts by the left.
No, it seems people know very little about the hostility Rudy faced. I'm sure there isn't a candidate better prepared to face the press and leftists in Washington.
