It depends. In some cities, especially smaller cities, a mayor is just kind of a super-legislator, and sits on the city council along with the other city councilmen. But, in most large cities, I think they tend to be purely an executive.
Yeah, I've been watching the baiting thing going on. This will be my first Presidential primary season here so a lot of it is new to me, but I'm thankful that the 20th century Freepers are around who have been through it all before and know what's up.

The facts about Reagan are difficult to deal with, I know. Because he wasn't perfect. Most of us knew that and voted for him twice anyway. But some of you just had blinders on and seem to think he never made mistakes. And then you think we're going to listen to someone like you??? hahahaha
ditto....i've read a bunch of your posts and i think we both think alike....i just chewed out a friend of mine yesterday for worrying about voting if it's one of the rinos....my response - do you vote for a mccain or hitlery....that may be your choice....and i will close my eyes, hold my nose and vote r every single time....
