Oh, sorry!
Care to come up with a list of his votes, then?
Info given by your imaginary friends doesn't count, by the way.
That is a lie.
Facts, facts...some people here don't need no stinkin' facts; some don't even need to see an interview...they know everything! LOL
That's true. Much like President Bush, Rudy loves to debate, to talk about different aspects of ideas.
Hillary can't and won't discuss ideas. She can only parrot poll tested bromides.
I think that engaged brain is one thing that really fascinates me about Rudy... he isn't afraid to take a second look at things from a different point of view.
I hope that's what's happening with some of these issues. It may just be a snow job, and plenty of us will be watching carefully. But I'd for it to be sincere.
I think his ability to be tough with the Islamic terrorists will at least give us a future to tackle some of the other issues raised here tonight.
I read part of his post and he's for Newt and Mitt at this juncture.
I can't disgree with that.
I see nothing in there that states draft evasion... did he go to Canada???? Try again!!!
Not worried. Reagan fans are much more intelligent.
He did not always govern in accordance with those values (of course, it's only fair to point out that as President, he had to deal with a Democrat-controlled House), but he was, especially by the standards of the time, definitely a conservative.
I know it.
One would think if abortion and gun control was so darned important to the party platform that Newt would have squeezed those issues into the Contract for America.
But nope. I've read it twice and nothing about those issues. Or, as you mentioned, gay marriage.
You do know that Guiliani worked for Reagan, right?
Well, you're the one who said that Reagan was amoral.
I was thinking about this today; I wonder where he would rate on the "conservative" scale today.
Fine, not a vote then. Platform position based on historical acts perhaps? We know where Rudy is and I'm still dismayed that many conservatives are falling for the ruse.
What do we know about the possible new First Lady?
That means you too Jim. Right Rex? [See Post #401]
Good post Jim. I thought Rudy expressed himself about as well as any liberal could under the circumstances.
I still think Rudy lost at least 5,000,000 conservatives tonight.
You don't go fishing very much but you and pops do alot of cathinhg gtrat HP
Yes, and as a conservative Reagan gave us two lousy Supreme Court judges, 4 tax increases, and amnesty. And then pushed for gun control when he got out of office and which Clinton ultimately signed.
He was a great conservative, but he wasn't perfect. None of the candidates are ever perfect. That's just life. And most of us get that.
That's the EXACT SAME, disingenuous, duplicitous answer that crazy ol' howard dean gave when he was running for president.
What, should our FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS "be left up to the states to decide" also?!!
