"Because we AREN'T "liberal Republicans", nor "LIBERAL" anything."
Oh really, sure could have fooled me, and a few hundred other freepers around here.
"And most of us have been CONSERVATIVES far longer than ALL of the RUDY HATERS."
Well fine, if you are a conservative I'm elated to hear that. But why not just be honest and admit you are supporting a liberal? I guess, like most liberals, they don't like to admit that they are, well, umm, a liberal. I can certainly understand that! By the way, as I posted elsewhere, I do not hate Rudy, in fact I like him, but that doesn't mean I will support him in the primaries. Why do you make such childish assumptions about me? It''s not because you are childish is it?
"Your assumptions are erroneous and your tactics are childish."
Well, someday when I grow up I hope to be real mature--just like you.

My mistake. I can give his quote not his votes.
" Perhaps, we should require insurance for handguns. If liability insurance were required to purchase and own a handgun, you better believe that the insurance industry would promulgate a pretty rigorous licensing and purchasing process to control the risk.
As a private citizen, as a prosecutor, as a Mayoral candidate and as Mayor, I have advocated for more regulated and more uniform gun licensing regulations, similar to those for a drivers license."

And he was a supporter of the (so called) Assualt Weapons Ban which expired in 2004
To: Victoria Delsoul
Thank you Victoria. They'll be very useful along with the banners I made up in anticipation of his announcement.
Let the campaign begin!

Herman Badillo is a nice old man. That's all I will say. He's still a clueless outerborough schlub (although he has lived in Manhattan for many years).

so long as the defense of marriage act holds - the amendment is not needed.
if an activist SCOTUS tosses the DOMA, then its a different story.

if an activist SCOTUS tosses the DOMA, then its a different story. Another reason for the Federal Marriage Amendment, which was co-written by Judge Robert Bork.

Are you for open and affirmative action admissions?
To: nutmeg
You're welcome. Glad you liked them. :-)
To: PhilDragoo
Great post, Phil.
Bumpity bump!
To: trisham
No thanks. Do you have a reading comprehension problem? I said, to all Rudy supporters. You obviously aren't a Rudy supporter that means the buttons aren't for you.
Reading comprehension problems are becoming the norm among the anti-Rudy imps.
To: AmeriBrit
You're quite welcome.
Let the campaign begin!
Absolutely!
To: Afronaut
DU-lite? Are you kidding me.
The debate on Rudy is more of a battle between fiscal conservative/social moderate or libertarian Republicans vs. fiscal conservative/social conservative Republicans.
You'd have to agree that Rudy is a fiscal conservative, no?
