Doesn't Coulter have her own voting problems in FL? Before that I didn't give her much credibility and after that zero, zip, nada.

I don't really know if that'll be a consideration.
He was mayor of a city with 8 million people.
That's more than the following 39 states (state population count as of the July 1, 2006 estimate):

Virginia 7,642,884
Massachusetts 6,437,193
Washington 6,395,798
Indiana 6,313,520
Arizona 6,166,318
Tennessee 6,038,803
Missouri 5,842,713
Maryland 5,615,727
Wisconsin 5,556,506
Minnesota 5,167,101
Colorado 4,753,377
Alabama 4,599,030
South Carolina 4,321,249
Louisiana 4,287,768
Kentucky 4,206,074
Oregon 3,700,758
Oklahoma 3,579,212
Connecticut 3,504,809
Iowa 2,982,085
Mississippi 2,910,540
Arkansas 2,810,872
Kansas 2,764,075
Utah 2,550,063
Nevada 2,495,529
New Mexico 1,954,599
West Virginia 1,818,470
Nebraska 1,768,331
Idaho 1,466,465
Maine 1,321,574
New Hampshire 1,314,895
Hawaii 1,285,498
Rhode Island 1,067,610
Montana 944,632
Delaware 853,476
South Dakota 781,919
Alaska 670,053
North Dakota 635,867
Vermont 623,908
Wyoming 515,004

I think the mayor tag is not going to matter as much as his policies, but that's just my opinion.

I knew it was larger than OK by a long shot but didn't realize there were 39 states NYC was bigger than.

That puts everything in perspective! WOW!

Of course, a NYC mayor hasn't been elected to a higher position since 1817. He got elected governor. But if you say so....

It's going to be either a Clinton/Obama ticket or a Obama/Clinton ticket on the Democratic '08 side. I presently see the Democrats winning the President/Vice President race in '08, and I certainly hope that the Republican Party truly succeeds in preventing this scenario from really happening while they still have the time to do so. Wake up, Republican Party!

8 Million People

Approximate 50 Billion Budget

Approximate 900 Billion – local domestic product (tri-state area) (goods and services) the largest in the USA

That is mega times bigger than OK! Our sleeps a lot Governor would never be able to handle anything like that!

He has NY and NJ in the palm of his hand. His public appearances on and after 9/11 are all that matter. These people know nothing of politics, and don't care. Appearances are everything. He's a shoe in.
