I must've missed this commercial. I don't remember it.

Well, initially I thought it was a car wash role reversal (major clue -- when they threw on the bucket of water). But if they were doing all this to "turn on" the occupants, then who cares what they were driving, right? Why would the car itself make a difference? It doesn't when bikini-clad women wash men's cars.

Also, what does a guy in jockey shorts on a horse got to do with a role-reversal car wash?

I have a thought. Weren't the men trying to touch and "turn on" the car? Using an excuse, something like, "Oh, you've got something on your blouse. Let me brush it off." Then someone else comes along, "Oh, you're also dirty over here ... and here ... and here ... finally they throw on water and they all start "cleaning" (while secretly touching and caressing).

Then in a frenzy they remove their shirts and rub their bare skin on the car, not able to get enough of it. Guys remove their clothes, standing along the curb, waiting their turn?

Maybe? I don't know.

The commercial, actually, was pretty sick. Getting sexually aroused, in public, over a car.

I've said it a million times: FR's user-friendliness stinks. Search doesn't find half of what you want. It's far too limited, hoping people put the right "key words" in the right format in.

The Grand-Theft Auto take-off was pretty cute. That was Coke. I liked the motorcyclist acrobats at the end, "bikers" on 1 side and cops on the other....

So was Coke's other ad about the big celebration of dispensing the bottle.

Not knowing (or caring) who Kevin Federline is explains why that commercial made no sense to me.

"WE JUST LAUGHED OUR COLLECTIVE @SSES OFF AT THE KATIE COURIC "GREAT THINGS ABOUT AMERICA" SPOT!"

Me too. LOL I remember it went something like this "We all know there is allot wrong with America but We at CBS News will search desperately hard to locate a positive story from time to time. "

I remember on the night before Thanksgiving she led a story in this way - "These days we all find it hard to find anything to be thankful for, but" - which led into a story about some destitute person getting some help

Because of the old yarn that a good car impresses the girls. And they like it so much they'll try to get the guy just to get a ride. Surely you're aware of this!

And certainly a GUY would be impressed by a good car....

The funniest for us was the Blue Diamond Almonds spot.

"Robert Goulet messes with your stuff."

"A handful of Blue Diamond almonds keep Robert Goulet away . . . until tomorrow."

Or something like that.

We laughed hard all the way through it.

"Were we supposed to feel sorry for a GM assembly-line robot when they have been laying off thousands of HUMANS?"

Did the robot have to jump? Couldn't he have "woken up" right before he committed suicide and still have the same effect?

I only know because of my husband.

I really couldn't care less about these idiots. I'm quite clueless about who is "in" for music, movies, anything. Much less their boyfriends and their personal lives.

What commericals I saw were terrible and tastless, no imagination, etc. Worst year for these things.

Oh, I almost forgot about that - YOU'RE RIGHT! The Gouet thing was strange, but strangely funny....!

(artly funny probably because he was willing to make fun of himself!)

I hate it when I post without fact checking.

The ad was for Emerald Nuts.

I don't really watch network TV - but after seeing the promos for CBS's upcoming week of shows...

I am definitely not getting CBS when the DirecTV guy comes next week.
