(CBS4) COCONUT CREEK Investigators say Kevin Mair, 25, of Plantation walked into his classroom Friday morning at Atlantic Technical Center in Coconut Creek using a cane and wearing the types of headphones used in a gun range.
Surveillance tape was released by the police showing the suspect approaching one person and that person doubling over.
They say he became agitated and displeased about the lack of black history courses being taught. (February is Black History Month.)
The teacher asked Mair to leave and called for staff assistance. Broward school spokesman, Keith Bromery, said the student – who is an adult – was asked to leave his business class after he became extremely “unruly”. That’s when police say Mair attacked the three staffers with a screwdriver: an assistant director and two security guards.
The three were later released from the hospital. Mair was arrested on three charges of aggravated assault.
Well, he's certainly making some "history" here...

So, let's recap - a black student who should was a public school failure for 11 years stabbed a white school principal because of a racial motivation. Hmmm, what will the liberal reaction to this be?

This is an out and out stupid act. Why can't people learn to think for themselves instead of believing all that crap about diversity which really means to divide and conquer.
Why would they offer Black History courses to wannabe auto mechanics, carpenters and plumbers?

They would also be labeling it a hate crime. BUT..In the PC world black kids don't do hate crimes.
People just don't get that. Being of the colored persuasion myself, and realizing that blacks were long absent from American history classes, I don't have an issue with being more inclusive in the regular history and civics classes. I do have an issue with setting aside a month (someone musta made some money from this somewhere...) for black history and not stressing, year round, reading, critical thinking, science, and math. Too many black history classes are apt to make people cranky, have a victim mentality, and just generally unpleasant to work around.
I think the guy probably has mental problems. No sane person, not even your basic militant black, is going to stab someone over insufficient black history classes. That's the kind of thing you take over the president's office for, go on strike, or go to the press over. At 25, he's either lying about his motives or suffering from schizophrenia.
Having taught history I safely can say Black History month takes less than an hour to teach if done correctly.
The rest of the month is repetition telling us how " little Kinesha" was the very first child in the family who graduated 2nd grade.
They don't have a Polish History month in schools- discrimination!

Complete and utter BS. He didn't stab somebody because he was upset about the lack of black history classes. He did it because he's looney tunes.

The last place in America to offer sensitivity classes or ethnic classes...would be these tech centers. Their roll in life...is to get you a job that pays. If you want ethnic classes...go to fancy school like Univ of Colorado or Univ of Michigan...and pay the $75k for the four years of university time like all the other idiots.
