That is assumming that Israel will allow a nuclear Iran.

American boomers would take Iran to the woodshed for many months, and scour it down to the mantle. They were designed to destroy the USSR, Iran is a much smaller area to focus their efforts on.
Imagine a Chinese nuclear water torture, drawn out over six months or a year.

What the article left out is the counter strike by our boomers, Trident Missile firing subs, and our still intact land based missiles and nuclear armed aircraft. It is true a nuclear armed Jihadist State can inflict terrible harm on our country and kill millions. It is an absolute certainty that the response would destroy all states that sponsor terrorism. They would be leveled and those that were not killed outright would perish to famine and disease.
A man like President Bush would launch the retaliatory strike as it would be the right thing to do. A man like Obama or woman like Hillary would also launch the retaliatory strike as it would be political suicide not to strike back at all terror states.If we did not strike back I truly do not think the military would be obedient to the orders of the civilian government.
