Adolf Hitler was coached in the use of gestures like this and their effect on crowds. He would hire photographers to photograph him posing with various gestures, then look at himself in the photographs to choreograph his speeches.
He was, after all one of the most effective and motivating public speakers who ever lived. He led an entire country into madness. He used his public speaking expertise to get his first job - Chancellor of Germany.
It looks like this lesson was not lost on our would-be future Queen.
