Why confiscate profits when you can provide tax incentives to move companies towards alternative energy sources and energy independence? So she can get her hands on some of the money, Duh !

She's talking about higher taxes on oil companies. Surely she can't confiscate their profits per se, but she can, with congress's stamp, raise the taxes on those profits. Which of course amounts to the same thing.
Obviously, she is a communist, and not even trying to conceal it.
