At some point or another some of you "top tier" followers are going to realize that just because someone may be a little new to you doesn't mean that they cannot introduce themselves to the country thoroughly in 23 months. Even if you still have doubts, please give a little credit to the incredible steam roller of visibility that has been the Duncan Hunter for President 2008 campaign.

Duncan Hunter fans need to make sure they vote in the Free Republic poll at http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/poll?poll=170 and visit the www.GoHunter08.com webite frequently. Sign up the first time and donate a few bucks every time...

Thanks for posting this. Hunter sounds like a great man - not a lot of baggage like the other candidates. I like what I've been reading about him.

Go Hunter!

Adding that she used to be "a John Edwards girl," Jordan said she plans to support Hunter

Well, that's quite the conversion.

...incredible steam roller of visibility that has been the Duncan Hunter for President 2008 campaign.

I must have missed this incredible steam roller. Aside from the fealty of infatuated Freepers, where can I find evidence of all this visibility in which Hunter's campaign basks? Polls? Media? Fund raising?

Absolutely gulfbreeze...also, donate to the campaign. Running a successful campaign takes money, and with the number of conservatives that frequent this website, there's no reason that the one conservative candidate in this race can't be as great a fundraising success as Howard Dean was...

...unless it's the case that liberals are more committed to their causes than we are to ours. :)

Just a thought:

I went to the "Duncan Hunter for President 2008" website.

The webmaster needs to get a front face shot of Mr. Hunter.
He looks open and honest, so that would be best.

The webmaster needs to removed the finger pointing photo ASAP.
The finger pointer is BJ Clinton's signature photo shot.

The more I read about Hunter, the more I like him. I think he's got a chance in this race. It's too early how good that chance is, but it's a start.

A Vietnam veteran, Duncan Hunter served in the 173rd Airborne and 75th Army Rangers
(IIRC while Duncan was in the 75th he was also a 'LRRP')

So okay Rudyites, wanna talk 'tough on terror'. Here you have it.

Duncan Hunter was PERSONALLY fighting 'terrorists' and was actually IN an 'asymmetrical war' (guerrilla) when Rudy was boinking his cousin.

Oh sure, Rudy 'kicked' Arafat out of NYC and told an Arab to stuff $10 million (whoopee). On the other hand, Duncan was eating VC terrorists for breakfast, lunch and dinner - raw.

I WAS an Airborne Ranger!
Lived a life of blood and danger.
I went off to Viet Nam
I killed old Charlie Kong.
Airborne Ranger!
Life of danger,
Airborne!

Hmm, whom to choose????
Rudy, Duncan - wow a this is a a toughie?!? (sarcasm)

NOTE: I'm not pulling the John Kerry 'war hero' BS. But IMO a Ranger (Airborne) and a LRRP knows MORE about 'asymmetrical war' tactics than any 'Leg' Brigadier.

Nobody had ever heard in Jimmah Cartah in 1976. In today's high-tech culture, name recognition can change overnight.
