Amazing hardly says it, Kathy. I absolutely loved reading about that as I had never heard any of this before. I also lucked out and found another photo of Balto. What a sweet, smart and handsome creature!!
I am not generally a dog person, but have known some individual dogs I was fond of. One of my very favorites was a Malamute of a friend of mine. We always enjoyed spending time together; she had the friendliest warmest, most loving nature.
Malamutes are beautiful....and another great picture of Balto. He did a very good job.
