A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Yawn Kerry: All we are saying
is give the 12th imam a chance

by JohnHuang2

Seems like things in the news this past week have been pretty much routine -- State of the Union address, pace for '08 race accelerating, stock market at new highs, cold weather in the Northeast, John Kerry cavorting with our enemies on foreign soil. Just the usual stuff. Did you catch Kerry's hoof-in-mouth latest? Did you ever think this Frankentard would go this far, rhetorically? I've never seen Kerry as isolated, as much of a sort of political pariah for a number of reasons as he is today.
The botched candidate was lecturing at an economic forum in Davos on the basics of Gigolo 101 when he said this: "When we walk away from global warming, Kyoto . . . we set a terrible message of duplicity and hypocrisy, etc." And when it comes to 'setting' terrible messages of duplicity and hypocrisy, etc., Kerry speaks as a renowned authority. When the idea of Kyoto was up for a vote, a sense of the Senate passed unanimously against it. Ninety-five to zip. Even treason addict Kerry voted against Kyoto. The 1997 Byrd-Hagel resolution, called 'Setting a Terrific Message,' told the Clinton White House that the U.S. should not sign on to any protocol that gives China and other Third World hellholes a pass. In its present form, Kyoto gives China and other Third World hellholes a pass.
But the Kyoto stuff in Davos didn't really rate a faux pas. So at some point Karl Rove was flown by miniature black helicopter into Kerry's mouth, wherein he inserted these words: "So we have a crisis of confidence in the Middle East -- in the world, really. I've never seen our country as isolated, as much of a sort of international pariah for a number of reasons as it is today."
I hate to beat on a dead horseface, but -- OK, no, I don't. When Kerry finally announced to a world breathlessly awaiting his '08 decision -- he announced on the Senate floor that he was for running before he was against it -- it was so sad! (Later, he dropped a real bombshell: HE SERVED IN VIET NAM! Did you know that?) The French-looking Kerry's decision to sit out the '08 race and, in effect, surrender to the unstoppable 18 percenter Obama inevitably means fewer laughs. In bowing out, he's also waving the white hanky to Hillary, whose negatives read like a decibel meter during one of Gore's typically thoughtful and nuanced 'HE BETRAYED HIS COUNTRY!!!' rants. Kerry's bowing out could also be the break that juggernaut Dennis Kucinich was looking for -- analysts say he'd get all of Kerry's 3 remaining supporters. If he runs.
Given his treasonous remarks, libbies would be kicking off some sort of 'Draft Jon Carry!' petition campaign but the Reject did this on the very weekend of Jane Fonda's Surrender Rally for Flower Children Well-Past Retirement Age, held in Washington. The protest didn't draw the 100,000 Bolshevik geezers and hags that organizers had expected. Instead it drew several thousand Bolshevik geezers and hags. By "100,000" maybe they meant the collective age of the nut organizers. This must be the liberals' plan to keep America safe -- gather enough '60s hippies in one place and the foul stench keeps even the terrorists away. To really relive the '60s, the "largely peaceful" protesters "peacefully" spat on a wounded Iraq war veteran. They love the troops. Later they vandalized the Capitol building. They love the building. (In any event, 3 million dead people in Cambodia and Viet Nam were unavailable for comment.)
While we're on the subject of foul stench, Kerry at Davos accused America of being "irresponsibly slow in moving toward AIDS in Africa." Fact: Back in 2003, slow-mover Bush made fighting global AIDS high on the To-Do list, so he cranked up a program called PEPFAR -- the President's Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief -- which happens to be the biggest global health initiative ever started by one nation. Bush pledged $15 billion over 5 years. Much of it for Africa. The pledge is on track. In 2001, the U.S.'s contribution to fighting global AIDS amounted to $840 million. By 2004, that figure had grown to $2.4 billion, topped by $2.8 billion in 2005, topped by $3.2 billion in 2006. For fiscal year 2007, over $4 billion was requested by that stingy laggard in the White House. The bottom line is that America has fought AIDS as no other international pariah has done before. But Kerry can't get his facts straight and talks like an anus perhaps because he's been sniffing Teresa's boxer shorts for too long.
Speaking of intoxication, there must be something in the water at Davos -- no, I don't mean Teddy Kennedy -- that makes liberals pop off with candor about how much they hate America. Back in 2005, former CNN honcho Eason Jordan claimed to know of 12 journalists who were deliberately targeted by Adolph Bush's beastly troops. The forum attendees were shocked. JUST 12??? Illustrating his deep devotion to facts, Jordan provided no evidence. Just delusions, then blamed Bush for his delusions. A firestorm erupted stateside. Several weeks later, Jordan grabbed the nearest water cannon and announced that "to prevent CNN from being unfairly tarnished by the controversy," he was redeploying out of CNN to spend more time with his family.
It's always amusing to see how much Democrats -- oops, I'm sorry, Democratics -- worry about what the "world" thinks about America and whether or not the "world" likes America. Clinton passed up a chance to nail bin Laden in Kandahar in May of 1999 because he was worried about what the "world" would think. The opportunity was "the last, and most likely best opportunity for targeting bin Laden with cruise missiles before 9/11," says page 140 of the 9/11 Commission Report -- the Koran for libbies. The result was 9/11.
Democratics hate America, tell the world they hate America, then express shock that the world doesn't love America the way they don't. Then blame Bush. Kerry in Davos plays to his Davotees by slandering America. Apparently Kerry's comprehensive plan for fighting terrorism consists of globe trotting, hobnobbing with elitists, signing autographs for Jihad-beens like Khatami and hugging the 12th imam. Our enemy's motto must be: Hate the sin -- the Great Satan -- but love the traitor, Kerry.
Anyway, that's...

My Two Cents...

We've been presenting JH2's essays here for years, happy you found him again. Pinging the others for a heads up on a new addition to The Finest Ping List.

We feature JH2 every Thursday that he submits an essay, sometimes he takes the week off and we'll post something else.

It's good you found us. Everyone is welcome here, it's a light and fun place to take a break from some of the other threads that can get intense. It's not often that someone gets flamed in here. lol

I read it, too, and although John Huang writes in a funny and witty style to make the medicine slightly less bitter, I AM SO TIRED of these old commie hippie traitor left lame brain BIGMOUTH retards, I feel stuck in a bad dream: THEIR bad dream and THEY WON'T WAKE UP FROM IT!!!

They work relentlessly for our defeat in the War on Terror and are DOING IT ON OUR DIME!!! The latest from Kerry reminds me of Tonkin's vow ... Kerry should have been expunged from the Senate long ago, along with the other scum and scummier traitors Durbin, Kennedy, Reid, Boxer et al.

Who do you suppose just paid for Pelousy and Murtha's "fact finding mission" to Iraq?! The American taxpayer... are we dumb or what? It leaves me totally mirthless, in fact enraged that not only do they AID and ABET the ENEMY 24/7/365, but they are being paid by public funds and will be collecting from our Treasury for life!!! Not to mention the other idiotic and meaningless stunts they use our money for, such as the newly proposed "Iraq Advisory Council (bipartisan, of course!)."

Something is terribly wrong here if we do not start fighting back, and fighting HARD.

Saddest of all: the REPUBLICAN Senators and Congressman MIA in support of our President and our troops. Where are they??!!!

Good rant, Dita....and you are SO right!

The president has been isolated by people posturing for their run for the presidency. He doesn't deserve the treatment he has to endure!

Some of these characters are starting to remind me of the bad ones in Dr. Zhivago. They do seem familiar, don't they.
