The southbound lanes of I- 85 in Coweta County near Newnan were closed for nearly an hour when a motorist was struck and killed early Tuesday after his car broke down.
Terrance Harvey, 42, of Forest Park and his brother were driving to work at a construction job in Newnan shortly after 6:30 a.m. when Harveys car stalled, authorities said.
Coweta Sheriffs Lt. John LaChance said because of highway work, there was no emergency lane.
The two men got out of the car to get to safety behind a barrier wall, but Harvey decided to try to start the car one more time.
LaChance said that when Harvey did so, he and his car were struck by another vehicle and he was thrown from the vehicle and struck several times. LaChance said the other driver was a 24-year-old man living in Norcross who faces charges of driving without a valid license.
This is a clear and blatant attempt by the hard core left wing Atlanta media to cover up the truth and keep honest Americans from knowing what is happening.
Disgusting. Typical.
Sorry for the double title.
After reading this, I somehow knew the adverse driver's last name would turn out to be Mendoza-Rodriguez-Ramirez-Tamez or some such thing.
G-d bless his family. G-d please speak to George about the crisis we face regrding our borders.
Officials say Terrance and his brother Avery headed out this morning to their construction job in Newnan when his 1992 Lexus stalled in the southbound slow lane of I-85. A concrete construction barrier kept the brothers from being able to more their car to the emergency lane. Coweta County Sheriffs Investigators say at least four cars hit Terrance as he got out to check on his vehicle Avery was able to dive behind one of the construction barriers to safety.
He left this morning and told me he loved me, said Ruth Harvey through tears. I cant believe this is happening, I really cant.
Terrance Harvey leaves behind his wife and their four children. Officials say they do not expect to file any charges.
The man who was killed was in a very dangerous situation. Illegal immigration has nothing to do with this tragedy.
" lived in Norcross".....illegal came to mind as well.
Except for the Sunday crosswords I've stopped reading
this liberal rag.
Similar things happen here in Raleigh on a regular basis. Do they get reported as such in the major daily rag or on TV, hell no. Some of the local town papers report something, only they do not tell you specifics about the person committing the crime. They do, believe it or not, give his name. Lots of criminals with the same spanish sounding names.
An illegal killed this man. How is it possible to say "illegal" had nothing to do with the accident.
I know you're right! I live on the South side. If ever there were a City ripe for a decent newspaper startup, this is it. I can't read it anymore, I get too angry.
:O)
P
The decedent's cars was broke down in the middle of an Interstate Highway. If the car had not been hit by the Illegal it would have been hit by someone else.
You mean like if a man stumbled upon a weapons cache of terrorists and a grenade accidentally exploded and killed him, it wouldn't be about terrorists or terrorism. It would be about those nasty ole weapons.
These "cover ups" are just regular, PC reporting. Get used to it, because the media will not go out of their way to inflame anger towards any minority, except white Christians.
"24-year-old man living in Norcross who faces charges of driving without a valid license."
I must be a bigot because when I read that I thought, "probably an illegal".
"Illegal immigration has nothing to do with this tragedy."
"There are no Americans in Baghdad!"
I see, only illegal aliens crash into cars that are stalled on the middle of an Interstate Highway.
You can get a new car, a new used car, etc.
Even modern medical science cannot graft a new @ss on your body after some 18-wheeler has reduced your body to a smear on the pavement.
Safety first, folks.
Thank You.
