Air America Radio, a liberal talk radio network, said Monday that it had reached a tentative agreement to be sold to the founder of a New York area real estate company.

What? Franken is still on their payroll even though they are bankrupt? You gotta be kidding.
This deal ought to be very carefully scrutinized...
Who's paying off Franken? And with what money?
"Green is the brother of Mark Green, a longtime New York politician who has also appeared frequently as a guest on Air America Radio."
Sounds like an insider deal to me.
I hope the new owner has buckets full of cash, or hw will be in BK soon. NO LISTENERS FOR HATE
schadenfreude alert...
I believe Stephen Green is currently involved in a palimony suit with his estranged lover, a young man thirty years his junior.
Too bad. It would be more fun if more rich lefties kept Air America propped up for a while. We'll miss having Air America to kick around.
Sorry, I'm too overcome worrying about what is to become of the careers of Janine Garafalo and Randi Rhodes to spend one second thinking about Stephen Green and his cabanna boy.
did they ever pay back the millions of taxpayer dollars they stole?
Al Franken Weighing Possible Senate Run
Asserting that Im good enough, Im smart enough, and doggone it, people like me! left-wing talk-show host and former comedian, Al Franken contacted Democratic lawmakers from Minnesota seeking their advice on a possible Senate run against Republican Sen. Norm Coleman next year.
Franken said hes very concerned with what he calls Americas selfishness. Everywhere I look I see people grubbing for money, feeding their families, and looking out for number one, Franken complained. Wheres the concern for ones fellow man?
I say its time for Americans to ask not what their country can do for them, but what they can do for me, Al Franken, he said. I think America needs to hear this message and take appropriate action before its too late.
Franken said he was concerned about how people will respond to a former comedian running for the Senate. I havent said or done anything funny in years, Franken pointed out. But some people might remember me from my Saturday Night Live days and assume that since I was on an allegedly funny show that I cant be taken seriously now.
Franken said he hopes to make a decision in the next few weeks. Last year, he moved his radio show from New York City to Minneapolis to get away from what he labeled New Citys right-wing ambience.

It is a relative of Mark Green!!! On my. Mark Green came really really close to almost beating Grampa Munster in an election, I think.
Wasn't Frankin sueing Air America even while he still worked for them??? Yet even now he is on the payroll?? Something really doesn't smell right about this whole thing.
You mean it is not " dearly departed"? ah, shucks.
He wasn't good enough, he wasn't smart enough, and doggone it, people didn't like him.
Would Al Franken sueing Air America be in the category of selfishly "Grubbing for Money". One wonders.
ROFL!!
Well gee,...I'm deeply, DEEPLY saddened.
I guess that they wern't good enough, they wern't smart enough to cut it in the real world.
