You do understand the real reason the democratics hate this is because there is nothing democratic about them?

They probably hate it because it's obviously being used with the intent to insult them, the same reason George Allen's people were mad that Jim Webb kept using Allen's middle name Felix in debates (though in Bush's case, like another person said, it's probably innocent given his other verbal slip-ups).

If I were the President I would send over Doctor Phil to congress as a joke to help heal them so they can get on with the work of the people.

What Tony Snow should have said: "On a related note, please refer to the president as 'President Bush'."

It ISN'T the party's full name. And if we ARE going to change the name of the Democrat Party, then put the world Socialist in there somewhere.

Soooo; just because they want to be called the 'Democratic' Party; it is still what it is. . .they are who they are. It is the Democrat Party; and they are Democrats or. . . demrats for short. And I will never refer to them as anything else.

And if you say 'Democrat'. .. everyone will know who you are referring to. There can be no mistake about it. . .

democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democrat/democra. . .and a small 'd' for appropriate measure!

I suggest that we form a new Conservative political party called the American Party. That way we can ask voters to vote "American". And the Democrats can be honest and say they oppose Americans and American policies.

What Tony Snow should have said: "On a related note, please refer to the president as 'President Bush'."

Precisely. . .it is pityful the disrespect; their absolute refusal to go there. (Wendel Goler; on Fox News; has NEVER slipped up. . .) GW get Mister Bush. . .or is referenced as 'the president'; seldom, if ever; do we hear; or more importantly, does President Bush here; himself referrenced with the respect and dignity and by the title, he deserves.

So let me get this straight... The President is a nincompoop who can't string three words together without stumbling, but dropping the "ic" from "Democratic" was a finely honed and deliberate insult from a master of the language...

"The Democratic-Republican Party, founded by Thomas Jefferson and James Madison as the Republican party in 1792, was the dominant political party in the United States from 1800 until the 1820s. The party and its members identified themselves as the Republican party (not related to the present-day Republican Party), Republicans, Jeffersonians, Democratic Republicans, less frequently Democrats,[1] or combinations of these (like Jeffersonian republicans)."

I vote democratically for Republicans every election.

When I see a "vote Democratic" button, I have to ask, what other way is there to vote in America?

I also see "Friends don't let friends vote Republican" buttons and stickers. Why don't they just cut to the quick and clearly state "Don't let Republicans vote"?

Let me get this straight. They call him "Hitler", "Nazi", "Chimp" "War Criminal" and "Moron". Nobody says a thing. He says, accurately, "Democrat" and it's newsworthy.

I am truly beginning to think it's time for these shrieking demons to be sent over the cliff.
