Actually, I have it on good authority that the number was millions of zillions of people.

Ever leave a flaming bag of Schieffer on a doorstep, ring the bell and run away?

Ya know, I'm glad that Schieffer has restored CBS News' credibility after that Dan Rather quagmire.

Remember new math, according to the media:

Couple of people on a streetcorner shouting "Down with Bush" = dozens of protesters.

Handful of people shouting and carrying signs = Hundreds of protesters.

Couple of busloads of people who show up in DC to protest and mostly sightsee = thousands of protesters.

I'd rather know when the Communists in America have EVER held a rally in SUPPORT of ANYTHING this country has ever done.

CBS's Bob Schieffer led Sunday's Face the Nation by endorsing the exaggerated attendance claims of self-interested organizers as he reminisced about the good old days of Vietnam protests. “Yesterday in Washington,” he recalled, “was like a day from yesteryear -- the war that to many seems long ago and far away: the war in Vietnam. Yesterday, hundreds of thousands of people descended on the capital to protest the war in Iraq.”

Missing the good ol' days, are you, Bob? Nostalgia, together with memory loss, increases with age.

The count is a much disputed thing. No aerial photos of the crowd. I bet that it is less than 3000.

The MSM is trying to propagandize the US public.

Josh was spit on. Thats enough for me. If I had been there, there would have been some thumpin, and I suspect that it was better that patriots stayed away.

But we should organize a support the troops demonstartioon. We could easily get 100,000 in the warmer months.

So what. In a nation of 300 million, 10,000 or even 100,000 is miniscule.

Just because they protest, doesn'tmean they're right. It just means they're warm bodies in one place.

Tired of people saying, "See? Protestors. Someone must be doing something wrong!" Not even close to accurate.

in a new time of war
in a new century
with our own Freedom
directly at stake
right here at home,
with an Enemy that's now
just around the corner and
...up your street..?

Imagaine that, if you dare..?
