Remember
Captain From Castile in which Pedro de Vargas was given the penance of praying for the soul of Diego de Silva, whom he thought up to that time he had killed?
The priest told him, "God's love is a heavy burden." Then he asked that as he hoped for salvation would Pedro accept the penance?
Remember what he said?

A lot of these people are celebrating because they think they're going to get back land and/or houses they or their families left behind all those years ago. They're going to be very disappointed.

Why not? Castro was the best thing that ever happened for the Cubans that made it to America.

They should invite everyone famous in entertainment/Hollywood and see who, besides Gloria Estefan and Andy Garcia, show up to celebrate. It would really show Cuban-Americans, and for that matter ALL Americans, who their friends are.

We should fly a C-5 over Havana and drop party invitations on Castro's house.

I heard speculation this morning on WABC that since the Cuban community will be celebrating anyway, getting a lot of them together at one location helps with crowd control.

Got to be more exciting to watch than the crappy football the Hurricanes have been playing the past few seasons.
