I really like Hunter too. He's excellent. But in terms of national coverage Huckabee really seems to know how to handle himself and probably has the best ability to beat McGiulimney.

I heard Brownback say he was against the surge in Iraq and that he wants to spend money on AIDS in Africa.
Okay, then. One less candidate, IMO

Sorry MNJ but the fix is already in on Dingy Harry. We have listed hundreds of dubious deals his family trust is in on and the msm has successfully not covered each and every one or poo-pooed our even bringing it up. He is quickly earning a teflon coating by the DBM.

Timmah asked Huckabee if he has a problem with gays. Huckabee was very pacific and PC in his answer. I wish he had shot back:
"Some. But you seem to have a huge problem with allowing Christians to honestly practice their faith yet you celebrate the same Muslims for their 'diversity' who stone gays to death. What's up with that?"
(that's not a real quote, just my wishful thinking)

I really think Wolf was genuinely scared after Cheney's reaction. I don't think Mel Tillis ever stammered as much as Blitzer did after that exchange.

Brownback also said that the president needed to "reach out" to Democrats over war policy. Was he in the can during that part of the SOTUA where GWB asked Dems to participate in talks regarding war policy?

 Brownback is an incompetent blow-hard.

I wonder why Brownback is doing this??

It's gonna kill any prospects he might have.

Maybe he needs to spend a little more time OUT of the beltway area.

Agree with you 100% on Brownback. Has shown himself to be a typical Senator.

Actually, I'm being too kind, there's an even better word than "Senator" for someone who votes for a resolution that wouyld embolden the enemy for political points.

To: altura
Perhaps it's all about fundraiding for brownback.
