O.K. I've read now that there are hundreds, thousands and tens of thousands. Im watching, not listening, to C-SPAN. They occasionally pan out so you can see some of the crowd but it really looks like there MIGHT be a couple of thousand MAX!
Anyone have any accurate numbers on this love fest?

I whs people woudl stop trying to relive the Vietnam War era. It's over, done with, and we have a much more vicious threat than Communism.

Watching C-Span, I'm sure you also saw lots of coverage of the DC freepers and their anti-protest protest/sarc.
I wonder if the freepers were able to gather more than a dozen or so........it's so hard to get conservatives out for something like this. Could be because most of us have jobs and other responsibilities.
I'm looking forward to Kristinn's report.

Will Jane be taking an anti-aircraft gun with her to the demonstration?

As an organizer, Id be disappointed. In a country of 275 million only 2000 people showed up. Now thats a following!

I would argue that they're one and the same.

I find it interesting that there were no significant protests for a period, then once the Dems were "swept into power by a growing weariness of the war" there are suddenly "tens of thousands" of people energized to take to the streets.
From what I've seen it is a group of old people attempting to re-live the summer-of-love-and-no-hygeine. Or they have all had a simultaneous bout of senility.

Numbers at leftie rallies are always multiplied by 10. It's the new, progressive math!

So much for her apologies for past activities that hurt our troops. Was hollow from the start.
