Hunter has billed himself as the most conservative Republican presidential candidate, which he said gave him a chance for victory despite low name recognition. He has sought to echo former President Ronald Reagan in calling for Peace through strength.

I'd be pleased as punch with President Hunter, but can he win the primary? And if so, can he win the general election against Hillary?
To: GulfBreeze
Ah! He is playing smart by staking out the position on the Right where nobody will get to the Right of him. He knows how to get Monterrosa's vote.
To those who think he is too conservative to win just remember that George Wallace was winning the DEMOCRATIC primary race at the time he was shot. American voters love cowboy rhetoric much more than political play-it-safe platitudes.

A conservative candidate begins to run in the GOP primary for president and here on a suposedly conservative forum we will soon see images of Duncan Hines cake mix to ridicule this man.

From Boston.com On Friday, an e-mail from Mitt Romneys sons suggested that whoever the Republican presidential nominee is will have to raise $100 million. Hunter said he wouldnt need to raise that kind of money because most of that money goes to pay for consultants that help them look like they are conservative and I am conservative already."

American voters love cowboy rhetoric much more than political play-it-safe platitudes.November 2006 proved that RINO-style "Democrat Lite" simply cannot defeat actual Democrats. R's win when R's act like R's.
The primaries are a time for the base to steer the party. We'll beat the pantsuit off of Hillary later.
