Thank you for posting this. The bots could care less of course. Dead babies? In their eyes, killing the unborn is a small price to pay for obtaining power.

Who said anything about hate?? Throwing that word around is a liberal tactic, and unbecoming of a FReeper. I haven't seen anyone claiming they hate him. I, in fact said I have tremendous respect for the man, and he could better serve the country in a capacity of Home Land Security. Simply feeling he is not our candidate, is not hate, not even close!

I've read posts snickering about Rudy's prostrate cancer.

Calling Rudy supporters "enemies of the state"

Accused of supporting the homosexual agenda.

What would you call that?

Frankly, you're the one who sounds desperate. Not to mention silly and whiny. For years I thought you were a pro-life conservative. Did you have me fooled. Whether Rudy made remarks 5-15 years ago, just yesterday or today, they're all relevent for the 2008 political campaign. Rudy obviously hasn't changed his mind about anything. Except for supporting Mario Cuomo over George Pataki, Rudy is still the lifelong liberal he's always been. One thing is clear, Rudy is working at keeping a low rhetorical profile. Do you really believe Rudy is all of a sudden going to jump up and proclaim, I am for limited government, I am pro-life, guns are good, special rights for gays is wrong and illegals will never get amnsety if you elect me. Of course not. Those are fallacies.

This is the early stages of the GOP 2008 primary campaign. There is a good chance that Giuliani will decide not to run. But whatever happens, Republican primary voters will choose the nominee. And social conservatives are the majority of those primary activist voters. They will not go along with you guys in the moderate-centrist-liberal wing of the GOP.

Instead of working to drive a wedge between factions in the Republican Party, hwo about coming up with a new plan. A plan that shows a chance of working. We need a unity candidate that appeals to ALL Republicans. We don't need to have a liberal as the party standard bearer for 2008. That is, unless you what to see a Democrat sitting in the WH come Jan2009.

You have the facts wrong. According to exit polls, Democrat turnout was up, Republican turnout was down. Independent turnout was unchanged. Voters who identified themselves as conservatives was down. Voters who identified themselves as moderates was up. Voters who identified themselves as liberal was up. Libertarian turnout is not measured and for good reason.

welll maybe John does not quite agree with that, and is more "liberal" than I on this one, since he mentions just PBA, which I find a distraction as a locus of any import in and of itself; the line into grave "sin" in my mind is viability

Not hardly. :-} I use PBA because it puts images in folks minds. My view is that abortion is murder (defined as the intentional killing of innocent human life absent due process), viable or not. I thought you knew that.

As for Rudy, I oppose exactly because of the courts. I firmly believe that court appointments are a picture into the window of the POTUS soul and Rudy has been a good soldier for the abortion on demand side of the equation. Hence, from my view he could never be entrusted with that decision now that we are one vote away from sanity on the court.

Alas, your facts are wrong. What happened was independents abandoned the GOP enough to cause about a 3.5% vote drop in the GOP totals, which was worth 30 House seats and senate seats. Absent gerrymandering, it kind of swing, a 7% swing, would have cost more like 45 seats.

>>>>>Alas, your facts are wrong.

My conclusions come from the 2004 and 2006 exit polls. They're not my facts. Basic Q&A. Since you didn't give me the background on your data, I'll have to disagree with you.

THE MAN WHO WOULD BE PRESIDENT This will document Giuliani's public infidelities, as well as his deliberate efforts to humiliate his wife and throw her, and their children, out of Gracie mansion in order to move his mistress in----gleaned from eyewitness news reports.

Nothing was too petty or savage for Giuliani especially when it involved women. Giuliani was always a serial philanderer (the first marriage to his third cousin ended with some really nasty rumors of abuse.) Rudy threw himself into the anti-family pro-abortion Planned Parenthood lifestyle early on.

Within six months of being elected Mayor, Rudy was pictured on the front page of the New York Daily News buying clothing for his young mayoral aide Christine Lategano on Madison Avenue. One day, Hanover rolled into City Hall unannounced, where she caught Rudy deep into Lategano, according to acknowledged rumors.

Giuliani was not subtle. He would take girlfriend Lategano to Yankees games WITH his kids, until Hanover had had it----pictures still exist of Lategano and the married Mayor in restaurants across the city. Lategano was widely disliked for her rank incompetence and arrogance. Eventually, Giuliani dumped her. But she got paid off---with an apartment and a cushy job when Rudy dumped his loyalist Fran Reiter so Lategano could run the city's Tourist and Visitor's Bureau, a job she was totally unqualified for (which paid $250K a year). People were horrified at the time. But Rudy was the mayor.

By 1998, Rudy had a new mistress (now his wife)---and would take her to a restaurant a few blocks from Gracie Mansion--so that his children and their friends would know about it. By 2000 things were getting insane. Rudy was squiring his mistress to city parades and other Mayoral public events.

Rudy then publicly announced to the press his separation from his wife WITHOUT EVEN TELLING HANOVER. Rudy would soon wage a savage war against his wife and children.

Soon after the humiliating Giuliani split-up, his mother became ill. When Hanover showed up in the emergency room of Mount Sinai hospital, concerned about her children's grandmother, Mayor Rudy got into a nasty, public fight with her, enraged that she showed up. Rudy demanded Hanover leave.

At the time, Rudy was taking his mistress---not his wife--- to cancer treatment sessions. He never bothered to tell his wife about his illness.

Rudy then decided he'd bring his mistress into the family's home (on the spurious claim that Hanover wasn't helping him through cancer treatments, an illness he had not even bothered to tell her about). Rudy announced he wanted to "divide the home" to bring in his mistress --- a transparent ploy to force his wife and children out into the streets. Hanover was forced to go to court to declare Gracie Mansion the marital home so as to exclude Nathan from it.

Thankfully, the judge said no to Rudy's cruel, insane request. Thwarted at this plan, Rudy moved in with a gay couple while his wife fended off his relentless efforts to replace her with his mistress.

But like an uncaged animal, Giuliani would strike at his own family like they were mortal enemies. On Mother's day 2000, he publicly paraded his mistress up and down Second Avenue for newspaper pictures. The evilness of this act astonished even blase New Yorkers.

The savage nature of Giuliani and his vendetta against his wife and children knew no bounds. He cut his wife's security detail (but provided government security to his mistress). It's hard to imagine the brutality of this man---placing his children, and the mother of his children, in danger. Yet, nothing was too petty or savage for Giuliani, especially when it interferred with his love life.

The only thing Bush has done is appoint strong judges, which is the exact same thing Rudy would do. This issue belongs in the states, with a referendum people vote (not politician or judge vote).

I wonder how many 100%ers will not vote for Rudy and cause Hillary to be elected over this one issue?

abortion is "more consistent with the philosophy of the Republican Party."

So long Rudi. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

1,000,000 unborn children were slaughtered in that city alone. NYC

Maybe he should have done something about it..

Yesterday I heard a great idea for reducing the number of abortions in this country. Legislatures should make it illegal for abortionists to perform abortions on expectant mothers without having first shown them 3D ultrasound images of their children. This could be justified under the notion of "informed consent," and could cut the abortion rate in half.

This could be done without changing any state or federal laws regarding abortion.
