THIS IS AN URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT:
The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic is canceling our planned gathering at Upper Senate Park scheduled for 10 a.m. this Saturday, January 27, and will instead focus our efforts on the appearance at the Navy Memorial that morning by Jane Fonda for a so-called antiwar rally there.
We will gather at 9 a.m. and stay through Fonda's scheduled appearance at 10 a.m.
Please bring American and service flags, signs bearing messages of support for our troops, as well as signs denouncing Fonda and her band of traitors.
The following is the announcement by the sponsor of Saturday's larger 'antiwar' rally on the Mall about the Navy Memorial event:
10am: Women Say Pull Out! Women's Convergence for DC Mobilization
Join Jane Fonda, Susan Sarandon, Congresswomen Maxine Waters and Lynn Woolsey, Rhea Perlman, Eve Ensler, Mimi Kennedy, Q'orianka Kilcher, the Co-founders of CODEPINK and many other amazing women. Other co-sponsors include: National Organization for Women, V-Day, WAND, Feminist Majority, Feminist Peace Network and WATER. Don't forget your PINK!
Where: Navy Memorial, 7th and Pennsylvania NW
When: Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 10am We will rally at 10am then meet up with the UFPJ rally and march!
The enemies of this nation are feeling so emboldened that they are confident enough to bring Jane Fonda to a MEMORIAL for the United States Navy. During the Vietnam war Fonda traveled to North Vietnam and posed with our enemy on an anti-aircraft battery used to shoot down our Navy pilots.
Please join us in protecting the honor and memory of the sailors and pilots of the U.S. Navy from Jane Fonda and those who support the enemy in this war.
As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
We will be downtown all day as we also plan to counter-protest the 'antiwar' march after their rally on the Mall
Dress warm, it's going to be cold but dry.
Metro stations close to the Navy Memorial include Archives/Navy Memorial on the Green and Yellow lines, Gallery Place on the Red, Green and Yellow lines and Federal Triangle on the Orange and Blue lines. Street parking and garage parking is available.
And she said...?
And? And? And? :-)
Not surprising, especially with Kerry's comment today. They must be reliving the past together.
I don't go to many of these, I'm a libertarian and an atheist so we don't always see eye to eye but I do loath that Fonda woman.
BTW: I had a lot of fun at the counter-protest at the Danish embassy and you'd prob recognize me if you saw me, not too many black people hang around you folks.
Oh, my!
Uh huh.
I just didn't use that many words.
; )
I often wonder why we didn't just bomb her when she was hanging out with the NVA?
The Jane Fonda! Why does that fit?
That bitch Fonda needs a reminder of who(m) and what she is.
Your annoyed brother
She said it's "relatively new". And I see it's got a 2006 copyright. She heard it on the radio.
Bump to the top -- Hanoi Jane should have been prosecuted as a traitor all those many years ago. Thanks for posting this patch. It will make a good sign.
See Post #163.
Hubby just hollered from the other room........
"Did she suck?"
Jane Fonda is a toad.
But he was talking about an American Idol contestant.
Indeed! Or a reasonable facsimile thereof.....
Use your imagination. And remember that she's a commie.
To you, maybe!
I rarely get to that point.... ;)
Damn Liberal women, its coitus interuptus all over again!
I really laughed when I saw Fonda rolled out. You know that she is just about the most hated woman by a majority of Vietnam Vets.
Keep rolling those old dried up socialist rich women, and the conservative backlash will definitely take shape.
I love it!!!!!
