"One female juror didn't meet PETA's standards for an obvious reason: her bait-store sweatshirt, advertising "Bass Pro Shops."
LOL....Do you think she wore that on purpose? (sarc) I would have done the same thing only it would have been my DU sweatshirt.

Don't PETA people believe that they themselves are animals? If so maybe they should fear what we might do to them.

The Peta guy saying they are anti hunting is odd, since they have killed more animals than most hunters do in a lifetime.
To: cf_river_rat
PETA is nothing more than an Anti-capitalist political group.
Nothing more.

Great article, and I hadn't seen it. THANKS so much for pinging me.
I am going to check out the names of those defending PETA. Don't be surprised if those names show up in some more of the "animal welfare" organization's leader's list.

PETA, People eating tasty animals. I'll take a nice Elk steak any day and of course I kill it before I grill it !!

One thing we can be sure of is that PETA is taking this trial seriously.
In addition to three trial lawyers for Adria Hinkle and one for Andrew Cook, PETA in-house counsel Jeff Kerr was in the courtroom today. So was the recently retired long-time PETA litigator Phil Hirschkop.
Kathy Guillermo, a 17-year PETA veteran, was pressed into service to talk to media outside the courthouse ("I didn't know I'd be coming until the last minute," she told one reporter).
And at least three PETA legal interns were on hand to see the wheels of justice turn -- oiled, we're told, with something vegan.

"Could this be a sign that Hinkle will claim she was just following orders?"
Wow. PETA members consider themselves an "Army" of sort? Funny. Lefties are always the FIRST in line to kick a soldier in the crotch who was "following orders" to protect the Liberties granted and the Free Speech freely given in America for PETA members and their unwashed, smelly selves!
In case you haven't noticed...I loathe these PETA Phreaks. ;)

That's quite a legal load for a fairly simple case. Perhaps PETA is nothing more than a front for yet more underemployed lawyers looking for a gravy train...

I thought this group was suppose to save animals. So much for that. Gives a bad name to those that do.

Oh I know Diana, that's why I always ping you on these PETA subjects.
Looks like this trial will get interesting. Hope cf_river _rat will keep us posted as he follows it, things are so busy here these pings are the only way I have to keep up.
And I hope PETA finally gets the public attention it deserves.

Can you add me to your ping list?
Thanks.
