Carter, now 83 years old, is relentlessly trying to re-write history about his pathetic presidency. I keep wondering when the Good Lord will say, "Your time is up."

Agreed. President Bush does seem to win points as he tries to play nice with Democrats and they bite the hand that is feeding them.

Maybe not,it's one thing to cover up the miles deep of trash that lies hidden in the cyber world about Hillary but try doing it twice, with Richardson as well--too big a job even for the Clintons dbm. I still see obama who is so new he has no history, and he is probably smart enough not to challenge her so he could be in.
They will throw a big bone at Richardson and that will be it.

Multicultural dogmatism, soft living, self-esteem stroking, an inferior socialist education, ubiquitous Liberal propaganda, libertine hedonism, and drugs will all do that to you. When you add up all the pieces together, they spell "easy prey".
Well said...If there is to be any hope for the Pub's in '08, and probably well beyond, we have to unite on these themes and find candidates who come the closest to covering as many of these bases as possible. The luxury of searching for each individual's perfect nominee is fast becoming a loser.

Did you notice in that interview that Carter said he STILL has as his goal, to bring peace in Israel???
I can't imagine why he thinks the Israelis would even want him in their country after the things he has been saying.
He was complaining again today about the violence and domination that the Israelis have used against the poor Palestinians all of these years...

Yep, and that's why Carter/Mondale lost in a landslide in 1980.LOL. Yup, thanks for pointing that out. I kept waiting for Wolfie to ask "then why do you think you got so badly throttled in the election?"

I think as I said earlier they may have objected to the word conservative.

Jimmy Carter reminds me of uncle June on the Sopranos! Just a senile, crazy ol' guy of his mind, wandering around in a torn Wal-Mart robe and then one day he shoots Big Tony in the stomach.

Carter's goal/idea of bringing peace to Israel is for it to be absorbed by his pals, the Palestinians. There are no words that I can use here to describe my loathing of this man, what he has done, and what he is still doing.

We may as well pop some corn and sit back and watch the fireworks between the two.
Larry Sabato was on Fox a few minutes ago and told Brian Williams that he never ceases to be amazed that with all the years of living with Bill Clinton that Hillary has never learned how to deliver a speech, that at best she is a combination of plastic and wood in the speech department. He also pointed out she cannot run a video/internet campaign forever, sooner of later she is going to have to actually go out on the campain trail.
When she does (my prediction) she isn't going to be much different than Lurch was on the trail. Bill cannot make all her speeches for her and if they medicate her (like she appeared to be when she spoke at the funeral last year) people will fall asleep.
They both agreed they both announced too early and the front runner is seldom the winner at the end of the race.
To: Fishtalk
I think not and in a way I can understand it the Republican party is made up of many different aspects not just conservatives.
I am not saying you should not have written it but maybe in your area that would go down way but would it in NJ or MA.

He certainly isn't fooling us by all of a sudden trying to make nice with conservatives like James Dobson and pandering to Jones isn't going to do him any good with people like me, either.
To: Morgan in Denver
Obama will bomb eventually so the Democrats are lining up the Hispanic vote if they can get it. The trouble with making a Clinton/Richardson ticket a winner with the public is that neither one has any charisma. Dull dull dull. Just as dull and phony as Al Gore. Even though Obama has nothing substantial to say, he has "it."
