The trouble with making a Clinton/Richardson ticket a winner with the public is that neither one has any charisma. Dull dull dull. Just as dull and phony as Al Gore. Even though Obama has nothing substantial to say, he has "it."
I won't discount this because you could be very well correct. But I don't know of any VP candidate who has been more charismatic than the candidate himself. Like it or not, Richardson brings more experience to the table for those people who will say Hillary does not have executive experience. Add in Richardson's work as a state governor, at Energy and the UN, and he complements areas Hillary is vulnerable.
I take that back. Jack Kemp was more charismatic than Senator Dole. Still, Kemp was held back so that he would not overshadow Dole.
