Russert's "testimony" to Fitzgerald was taken on the phone and NOT under oath. How professional was that?
This is one time that I wish Libby had tape recorded his phone conversation w/Russert and springs it on him at the trial!

The Rats are really taking themselves waaaay too seriously. They do not have a mandate for anything, and they are foolishly showing their collective radical liberal @sses too soon, and way too much. They are all going so far overboard that it is not just Conservatives that are feeling they are crazy, anti Americans, that do not know how to lead especially in time of war. Nanzee Pelosi is not getting good marks, and there is a lot of infighting for Power. They have no clue that the Public did not want all the radical crappola they are espousing. all the really Crazy Rats are coming out of the woodwork hurriedly pushing their Communistic ideas like nothing will stop their lunacy if they can shove it down everyone's throat before they realize it. Kucinich, Waxman, Frank, Rangel, Pelosi, Kennedy, Schumer, Kerry. They are so drunk with their perceived power (imagining they have huge majorities) they are not thinking how they look to the average American. All this coupled with the Non Congressional Loonies like Rosie O'Shrew creating a horribly distorted face for Women in America. Yikes, their faces (attitudes) do not reflect most Women, thank GoD.

Also, you are missing the two largest issues this weekend. SNL tore into Hillary.LOL.... perhaps YOU have missed the point. SNL made fun of her temper and her screening questions as a preemptive strike. Get it out of the way and it's old news. It's an old Marxist trick.

I don't buy it, odds are too long, all they will do is make him a bigger VP candidate.
In an all out war between the two mobs--Daley/Clinton--the Clintons will play much dirtier and will win.

I, too, think they are overplaying their hand. They are also continuing to run the phoney polling scam. This snippit is from Power Line:
"Newsweek poll is of more interest, I think, because it and similar polls are early indicators of how much the electorate's disgust with Republicans, as manifested in the '06 results, will carry over into '08. This particular poll shows essentially dead heats in all the races--Hillary vs. McCain, Obama vs. Giuliani, etc. As in a number of other surveys I've seen lately, John Edwards runs a little better than either Clinton or Obana.
But Patrick Ruffini points out that Newsweek sampled 37% Democrats to only 26% Republicans. If you adjust the Newsweek numbers to reflect the proportions of Republicans and Democrats who actually voted in '06, McCain and Giuliani both lead Clinton by five to seven points, and lead Obama and Edwards by varying margins, as well."

McCain was describing the Iraq War as a "train wreck"??
If so...isn't that lovely.
He is so going to try to please everyone, and in the end, no one.

This may be the first election since what--1972? with no presidential candidate debates.I hadn't thought of that, but I would put money on it.

Sooner rather than later hillary will be worried about Rudy who out polls her now and that lead could grow.
If she can not totally assassinate his character he needs to watch out for his personal safety.
Have a food taster, watch where he drives, flies etc.
The Clintons have proved many times when they cannot win they cheat. And when they cheat, anything goes. No matter how low, they will go there.

Thanks for the nuggets again this week.
I noticed that People Magazine is closing offices and laying off people.
I can understand why...why do people need to buy that magazine, when the NEWS cable shows spend so much time on the gossip of Hollywood?

It really is amazing how the Democrats/leftists are going nuts over 24. They are totally upset over one TV entertainment program in light of all the programs the left has had and that have all failed in the marketplace. I love it.

LOL..poor McCain...still naive after all these years.

If she can not totally assassinate his character he needs to watch out for his personal safety.Absolutely correct. There will be plenty of blood in the water before this campaign is over. No one gets in the way of the Clintons and what they want.

The republican party is the stupid party for a reason.
Putting a AMNESTY STOOGE like "Senator" Mel Martinez in as chairman is proof positive of a party out of touch with their base and what the public wants.
The republicans have already given the democrats a massive union victory by agreeing to a min wage increase. (union contracts are indexed to the min wage)
You can cut the disgust with a knife but in the meantime we have 100's of neroes fiddling in rome.

They also point out that she flips on every issue. That is voted for the war. That she has a feeling of entitlement for the job, that she lies about her background, being half Jewish. And then saying she was half black. They painted like John Kerry. But the most important thing was that they said nothing bad about Obama.

I believe Hillary pulled the tigger too soon but because of the perceived impact of Obama entering the race. They do seem to overplay their hand and we'll have to wait to see if it works or backfires.
