I, too, think they are overplaying their hand. They are also continuing to run the phoney polling scam. This snippit is from Power Line:

"Newsweek poll is of more interest, I think, because it and similar polls are early indicators of how much the electorate's disgust with Republicans, as manifested in the '06 results, will carry over into '08. This particular poll shows essentially dead heats in all the races--Hillary vs. McCain, Obama vs. Giuliani, etc. As in a number of other surveys I've seen lately, John Edwards runs a little better than either Clinton or Obana.

But Patrick Ruffini points out that Newsweek sampled 37% Democrats to only 26% Republicans. If you adjust the Newsweek numbers to reflect the proportions of Republicans and Democrats who actually voted in '06, McCain and Giuliani both lead Clinton by five to seven points, and lead Obama and Edwards by varying margins, as well."

Sooner rather than later hillary will be worried about Rudy who out polls her now and that lead could grow.
If she can not totally assassinate his character he needs to watch out for his personal safety.
Have a food taster, watch where he drives, flies etc.
The Clintons have proved many times when they cannot win they cheat. And when they cheat, anything goes. No matter how low, they will go there.

The republican party is the stupid party for a reason.

Putting a AMNESTY STOOGE like "Senator" Mel Martinez in as chairman is proof positive of a party out of touch with their base and what the public wants.

The republicans have already given the democrats a massive union victory by agreeing to a min wage increase. (union contracts are indexed to the min wage)

You can cut the disgust with a knife but in the meantime we have 100's of neroes fiddling in rome.

I believe Hillary pulled the tigger too soon but because of the perceived impact of Obama entering the race. They do seem to overplay their hand and we'll have to wait to see if it works or backfires.

Excellent points. The Rats are like Bulls running loose in a china Shop after being penned up in close quarters for quite a while. The Rats have had to be together and pretend that they like each other and would not kill each other for a leadership power position. They are throwing out all caution and forgetting that they can just as easily lose the Majority again if they turn off the electorate like they are now. They are so mean and vicious, hysterical, shrieky sounding (not in manly ways) like they are all hormonally challenged, and could use an IV drip of estrogen. I have to turn these Women off, it is like eavesdropping in on a Shrink Session for Menopausal mental illness. Most of these women are past that stage of their lives. What gives?
