...provide a framework for bringing stability back to Iraq...

Socialists think they can centrally plan everything.

When i saw the title I thought it was referring James Woolsey who quit the Clinton Administration after not being able to have one meeting with Clinton for over a year.

Now that I see it is Lynn Woolsey, nevermind.

Looks like a "target rich environment" to my way of thinking:

"Barbara Lee (CA), Maxine Waters (CA), Diane Watson (CA), James McGovern (MA), Barney Frank (MA), Raul Grijalva (AZ), Chaka Fattah (PA), Jerrold Nadler (NY), John Conyers Jr. (MI), Wm. Lacy Clay (MO), Steve Cohen (TN), Maurice Hinchey (NY), Bob Filner (CA), Dennis Kucinich (OH), Donald Payne (NJ) and Sheila Jackson-Lee (TX)."

Somebody remind me again where it says in the Constitution that congress sets foreign policy. These jerks are giving aid and comfort to the enemy, which I believe is mentioned somewhere in the Constitution.

Note to Lynn Woolsey: The idea was to come up with a plan to stabilize Iraq and their fledgling government, and not a plan for losing! Pfffffffffttttt!

Hard to think of a more pathetic group of whiny socialist wankers in Congress (unless we add the names of all the Demagogue leadership and RINO quislings to the list):

"This bill is co-sponsored by: Barbara Lee (CA), Maxine Waters (CA), Diane Watson (CA), James McGovern (MA), Barney Frank (MA), Raul Grijalva (AZ), Chaka Fattah (PA), Jerrold Nadler (NY), John Conyers Jr. (MI), Wm. Lacy Clay (MO), Steve Cohen (TN), Maurice Hinchey (NY), Bob Filner (CA), Dennis Kucinich (OH), Donald Payne (NJ) and Sheila Jackson-Lee (TX)."

The problem with their plan is that it doesn't say anything about winning the war in Iraq. Their plan is a plan for the goal of leaving Iraq. But leaving Iraq is not the goal, winning the war is the goal.

So if you want to "meet the President's challenge", you have to put a plan in place that will win the war, and explain how each step in your plan will contribute to that goal.

You may disagree with the President's plan, but he outlined why each part of his plan exists, and how that part is supposed to improve our chances for victory in Iraq.

Unfortunately Lynn Woolsey is my congressperson. It is very lonely being a conservative in this bastion of liberalism that is the SF Bay Area.

You should have seen South Park Wednesday night. It gave SF both barrels.
