Obviously something bad was going on. Clinton made him out to be a bumbler. The media ignored it. Sure proof that Berger was protecting Bubba.

A conspiracy that will make Watergate seem as consequential as a Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming Washington Post and New York Times in depth investigations.

A conspiracy that will make Watergate seem as consequential as a Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction. Only if the truth is revealed.
And with both Clinton and Bush covering it up, don't count on that happening.

Conspiracy?
The TWA 800 coverup!In the days after 911 both Steponallofus and Kerrytchup said during interviews that the 911 event was similar to the terrorist shootdown of TWA 800.
I believe that Bubba and Bubbaette wouldn't want this to come out if their power grab is to succeed in 08!

Berger is no patriot. He committed a felony by stealing those documents. It may be that he is the only one who can tell us what he stole and why he stole them. He ought to be water-boarded to get the truth out of him (sarcasm)!

A conspiracy that will make Watergate seem as consequential as a Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction. If Sandy Burgler were acting on behalf of a Republican ex-president, I'd agree. We'd hear about it night after night on the news and on Chrissie Fit Matthew's Softballs, and on every Sunday News program as every angle is covered ad nauseum.
But for the Clintoons, it's a single story, then a free pass for life.

Do you think the truth about these men did to America's national security interests to preserve their own- will ever be known?
BTW, based on what reports about his thefts were released at the time it seemed to me Berger was pilfering millenium-terrorist related files to benefit his nascent "security consulting firm" - perhaps they had or were trying to get a big contract to write some studies for Homeland Security and also apparently had been contracted to advise the John Kerry campaign - the better to criticize "weaknesses" in Bush administration Homeland Security. ("weaknesses" being all the things Clinton was advised to do, and failed ot do, during 2000 and which remained undone by Bush from 2001-2004 due to other priorities)
Remember all the blather about "port security" that came out of the Kerry campaign? And that is coming out again now that the dhims are in charge of revisiting the 9-11 commission report? The verbiage and recommendations on this issue (and others) was probably lifted from classified after-action reports burgled by Sandy Berglar.
Perhaps Berglar and the Clinton security team dhims are aware of close calls we had from terrorist port infiltration (none briefed to the Bush team of course) and are trying to position themselves to blame Bush if and when the next attack occurs.

I agree, it's an enormous story, or should be. The other thing that occurs to me is that Berger wouldn't have risked it, not only for something unimportant, but if he really felt that there would be any consequences to him if he got caught.
Basically, I think he knew in advance that even if he was found out, nothing was going to happen to him. Obviously, this would have been guaranteed by Clinton; but how did Clinton do it? Simply by relying on Bush's established habit of letting by-gones be by-gones and never holding Clinton responsible for anything? Or was there some other pressure?

Let's review:
- We have some evidence that the Clinton Administration knew about Project Bojinka;
- We have two Clinton flunky lawyers appointed to the 9/11 Commission for no apparent reason, one of whom had a direct conflict of interest;
- We have Clinton flunky Sandy Berger risking prison time by intentionally stealing classified documents;
- We have Richard Clarke's non-Mea Culpa before the 9/11 Commission, in which he said such hilarious things as Sandy Berger was a great National Security Advisor, and where he tried to lay the blame for 9/11 on the first eight months of the Bush Administration;
- We have Sandy Berger leading the political charge against Curt Weldon, the one guy in Congress who wanted to know what happened to the Able Danger information.
Conclusion: the Clintons are covering their asses. And once again, the bad guys win.

Why is Sandy Burger walking around?
Why is Sandy Burger walking around and able to call ABC to complain about how he is being portrayed in "Path to 9/11?"
Why will Sandy Burger have high level security clearance within three years?
While I have long believed that flight 800 was blown up somehow, it never occurred to me that it was being used as a missile and Clintoon would have known that. Wow.

True to form, the major media refuse to even ask the most fundamental question: Just what secrets would justify so much personal exposure? Odd how the MSM misses big questions when it comes to exposing fellow democrats... Are they really willing to lose their credibility and jobs in order to protect every democrat? Seems that way ...
