LT a class act?? Why, because he says so? If you have to tell people your a clas act, I got new for you - you're NOT. LT came off like a crybaby.
Please refer again to addage below:
And don't tell three-time Super Bowl Winners how to act until you've won a playoff game.

As a colts fan and season ticket holder I can only say that Manning and Brady are great QB's and we are lucky to be able to watch them in their prime. We are even more lucky that they are on teams which have turned out to be the biggest rivals in the NFL. I respect the Pats and love the Colts and know I will see some super football this weekend. As a Pats fan, I agree 8-)

No the Patriots were sore and classless winners.
Better to be a classless winner than a classless whiner.

Peyton's commercials are funny. I like the one with Eli at the ESPN offices when they act like typical brothers.

I say celebrate a win, especially an emotional win. It's not like they blew the Colts out, they came about 5 yards from OT that's going to pile up some emotions wanting release. There was some jumping up and down when the Marlins advanced, they didn't do any dancing but baseball really isn't a dancing sport.

It's not a fallacy at all. There've been plenty of other times when the press and DA went gaga over a case and it turned out they didn't have one. You simply can't say in our world with our lacivious press "no crime, no publicity", the best you can say and be honest is "no wrong place wrong time, no publicity".

Bellicheck if half the stories of his off field behavior are true he is a scumbag. Nice of you to slander to the head coach.
Classy, very classy.
And original, very original...

If it wasn't for the Chargers self-destructing, this thread wouldn't exist. The Patriots shouldn't be there. Belichick is an @ssh*le. He started his BS headgame at player introduction. The field announcer called out the patriot team twice and they didn't show until half way through the Charger introductions just to disrupt. Classless steaming pile.
To: DreamsofPolycarp
Some reporter asked him "What are you going to do now that you have a contract for 817 gazillion dollars?" Peyton's reply was "Earn it."Classic Peyton...
but Tom Brady made his big contract deal soon thereafter, and even though he could've demanded Peyton-scale wages... he didn't. He took far less, to help his team build more pieces. Utterly brilliant, unselfish, and strategically sound... dagnabbit.
I'm not saying Peyton is selfish... I'm an unrepentant capitalist... but Brady's move was smarter in the long run. Although Peyton's cap hit will be "only" $7M next year, and Brady's will be $10M, Peyton's hit balloons to $18M, $20M, and $19M for the 3 years after that, while Brady stays right around $11-12 for each season.
As a result, the Pats will continue to have a high-end defense, and the Colts will have a great O-line (with lower price-tags), which will give them the bigger stats... but the Pats have the Rings.
(HUGE Colts fan here, by the way... but I WILL be buying a beer for the nearest Pats fan on Sunday in the Dome, as an act of courtesy.)
To: Beckwith
I won't hit LT as no class for this. He was upset, and his protestations were kind of stupid. But all year while the press was worshipping him he diverted all praise to his teammates, specifically calling out his offensive line repeatedly. That's pretty classy in my book, and it happened often enough to out weigh what happened after the game Sunday.

Then post all the charity work metroboy does. I'll help. Google Tom Brady Charity and all you get is the Globe article saying he's a no-show. Google Peyton Manning Charity and you get pages of his good work, including his own Peyback Foundation.
Class will out, always. And rings don't equal class (except maybe in BeanTown).

But I don't throw up when looking at Peyton either.
Why, are you attracted to disproportionately large heads?
Every time I see him flailing about under center I swear he reminds me of Kazoo.

I love all of Peyton's commercials... but they DO get aired FAR too often.
