Whenever I start thinking about all the damage that's been done to America by the social engineering socialists, I have to remind myself that some of my best friends are left-wingers. That doesn't do much for my blood pressure, but at least it serves to remind me that they're not all as self-righteous as George Soros, as fatuous as Michael Moore, as smarmy as Jimmy Carter, as shrill as Nancy Pelosi, as hypocritical as George Murtha, Ted Kennedy and Robert C. Byrd, or as deceptive as Barack Obama, the fellow with the most liberal voting record in the U.S. Senate who has managed to convince millions of people who should know better that he's a card-carrying centrist.
I didn't include Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton among the usual suspects because it's probably not fair even to call these two cheap race hustlers Democrats. In truth, they're nothing but a couple of con men who'd probably be peddling the Brooklyn Bridge to foreign tourists if this black leader gig hadn't panned out so well.
The whole question of race is a dicey one. Pity the poor fool who wades into those troubled waters. Well, here goes. If a black person tells the truth namely, that in 2007, 99 percent of black problems are self-inflicted he is, like Bill Cosby and Thomas Sowell, dismissed as an Uncle Tom. If a white person tells the truth namely, that with a 70 percent illegitimacy rate, no amount of government handouts will do anything but provide the cancer victim with a very expensive band-aid he's condemned as a racist.

It make Cosby a damned hypocrite.
It do?
Wow, could there be any better single adjective to describe Michael Moore than "fatuous"?
Other than lying-bloated-bastard-scumbag-traitor-elitist-hypocrite-jack@ss-blowhard?
Say what?
How many lines of blow did Cosby do in the 60's? How many chicks did he bonk?
Why you had to axe that? Is you dissing people who caint talk good?
It's especially comical when there are twenty-five white people and two black people at the gym....yet the radio is tuned to the rap station and the crackers are all afraid to so much as lower the volume to tolerable levels. It is very rare indeed for a white person to say, "Hey, how about we change this radio station to something better?" and then actually do it.

If honest criticism requires the messenger to have a perfectly righteous background, then who are you to criticize Cosby? Does he not speak the truth?
Cosby has as much cred as Bill Clinton when it comes to preaching morality.
Dis artical mighta hat mor impak if is was ritten buy a white dude.
I can spell littel words.
Burt Prelutsky has been a humor columnist for the L.A. Times, a movie critic for Los Angeles magazine and a freelance writer for TV Guide, Modern Maturity, the N.Y. Times and Sports Illustrated. He has also written TV scripts for shows such as "MASH," "Mary Tyler Moore"
Looks like this guy spent the 70s writing dialog for Alan Alda and Ed Asner. I wonder when the light finally went on for him?
White guys who hate rap don't play a lot of basketball.
'scuse me. Got muh colors missed up. It neeted to be rit buh a black dude to be 'fecctive.
LOL
Telling black Americans to stop blaming everybody else for their woes isn't "preaching morality." You can call Cosby a hypocrite all you want, but he simply tells it like it is. I don't recall him ever saying that he's led a perfect life and made all the right choices. The truth is unassailable, regardless of who says it.
But they do use stationary bicycles, treadmills, stairclimbers, swimming pools, freeweights, and exercise machines.
That is the reason I used the phrase "...to so much as..." in my original post above. Whites will tolerate the lousy music in silence because they don't want to be perceived as "racist" by changing the station. Some of those same whites have so much guilt they won't even agree with the person who has enough fortitude to suggest that a change needs to take place with the radio.
It has nothing to do with the lousy music as much as it has to do with Political Correctness and fear of an argument from the two black people in the room.
