Hmmm. Maybe it's me, but it seems he was saying Saddam was a source of instability and I don't see those where the words in the title came out of his mouth.

Oh crap! I do wish the president hadn't said this. He has NOTHING to apologize for. What I'd prefer he do is go after his accusers who have lied about all sorts of things and the administration has maintained radio silence.

"We liberated that country from a tyrant."

But did we liberate it from tyranny?

"I think the Iraqi people owe the American people a huge debt of gratitude and I believe most Iraqi's express that."

Doubtful. Most of them are medeval barbarians who are only interested in satiating their blood lusts.

"We didn't find the weapons we thought we would find or the weapons everybody thought he had."

That's because Saddam was given the perfect opportunity to get those things outta Dodge while we were screwing around with the UN in the months leading up to the war.

Maybe the Iraq is more unstable. But the Kurds are probably happy. The Shias in and around Basra are probably happy.

The Shia and Sunnis in and around Bagdad are doing what they have always done, kill each other. Before Saddam had his army but even they did not wipe out Sadr City, although a few attempts were made.

The biggest change since Saddam was ousted is that the Media has more access to information inside Iraq and can report it as they see fit.

This is different than when CNN was in Bagdad and reported the news as Saddam saw fit.

I hate it (yet it's so predictable) when the F***ing media spins Bush's words to fit their agenda and then JUMP and JUMP on it ad nauseam...

Bush has been reading the New York Times too much. Want to stabalize the world and send a message that we ARE the world's superpower? Take the gloves off and give IRAN a pummeling that will take 30 years to rebuild, then we'll see how brave the rest of these terrorists and tin-horn dictators are.

One word out of Kim Jong-Il and Marines kidnap Areck Barrwin and don't release him until North Korea allows us to totally dismantle their nuclear technology.

Unfortunately, before 9/11 (much like the rest of us), the Bush Administration didn't know much about Islam. I don't think they really had a plan about what to do (or estimated the difficulties they would encounter) once they took "control."

The biggest cause of instability in Iraq has been the MEDIA.

They have lied and done everything possible to undermine the mission, and President Bush.

I can hardly believe this report.

"Pelley: It's much more unstable now, Mr. President. Bush: Well, no question, decisions have made things unstable."

Can someone show me where he said,"my decisions"? Maybe I'm missing it?

When is the President going to take that hair shirt off? He's the leader of the free world, for crying out loud. This hangdog stuff should STOP.

If he can't control his mea culpas, someone should get the hook and pull him out of these "personal" interviews. They are always a trap.

And Bush's advisors are seriously deranged.

At this rate, we WILL get a woman president if GW doesn't pull himself together and get back in command of himself.

The terrorists didn't celebrate the dem gains for nothing; Just like Iran didn't let the hostages go (after 444 days under Carter), when Reagan swore in for nothing.

Must've been Bush's fault that the Kurds got gassed and shias (as well as Sunnies), got slaughtered before we got there (my bad, I forgot, CNN wanted to keep their office there so they didn't report it). I guess Bush also told how he was responsible for all the attacks through the nineties, our embassies, the Cole, burning still going on in France, the London Tube bombings, Indonesia, Spain, India, the Phillipines, Bosnia (still have troops there), Germany (yep, still troops there too), Denmark, Turkey, the Aussies and Sweden.

If the press did it's job showing the global war on terror, instead of a body count only in Iraq 24/7 and the pushing the democrat agenda, people would know what we're up against. Were we responsible for all the children killed in Beslan? That's what we will see here if people don't wake up and realize jihadis are here and more are being groomed here in the states. The media didn't show the Arabs in NJ not long after 9-11 scoping out the school that were caught, the ones under the Brooklyn Bridge, the two ME 'men' who got on a children's school bus in Florida, covered up the OK bombing and subsequent incidents in CA univ,, U Michigan, Georgia Tech.
They're more concerned with PC and CAIR, instead of the hill kicking mini-Hamas out of our country.

Now I see how the holocaust happened... I can't believe this country has become so blind and stupid. Thank goodness for second amendment rights. What the Sam Hill happened to my country?

The media more concerned on the latest star adoption or lack of panties and Donald v. Rosie... when there are terrorists coming across our border, still getting drivers licenses, own trucking companies, and still coming to our universities (now that's Bush's fault). I'm in NYC, do you know how many mexican muslims are here? And this is the northeast. Do you know the establishment of shariah courts is happening in Canada and England? Have you read the "Years Plan for the US" on the CAIR site?

Much ado about nothing...he has already said in his speech on Wednesday that mistakes were made that have caused us to have to change tactics.

I betcha every military expert will tell you that what Pres. Bush said is true of EVERY war that has ever been fought.

The actual war to get rid of Saddam, which was from a 1998 resolution...WAS fought almost perfectly. But, they say, that war plans have to be changed from the second the first troops sets foot on the ground.

I KNOW the Dems and Sissy Chrissy Matthews will use this as PROOF that Bush is even more of an "idiot" than they have been telling us for 6 years...but, it will be the same ole song, 100th verse...IMHO>

The real question should be one that Bush should ask 60 Mins, "Where the hell did those fake National Gaurd documents come from?"
