No link yet...
anyone want to join me sending BO a nasty e-mail!
oreilly@foxnews.com
I have already sent a few!
i just asked him to please stop talking about Shawn and told him basically if he can't say something nice, than maybe he shouldn't say anything at all! Shawn and his family don't need this crap that BO is dishing out and he needs to just shut up!
i will be watching Oprah tomorrow and can't wait to see some smiles on Shawn's face!
I sent O'Reilly a letter this morning telling him how disgusted I was with his comments! Hope FOX is flooded with letters. O'Reilly always says "my team will be on top of this", "my group will research this" etc. I told him he obviously has done no research on cases of kidnapped children who were found and the brainwashing/fear techniques that were used by their captors. If he had he would never have made the comments he did. I will never watch his program again.
If you click on this link for Zaba search under "James Devlin" you see there is also a 491 Holmes Ave, 63122 connection - as well as addresses in common with Patrick Devlin.
http://www.zabasearch.com/query1_zaba.php?sname=james%20devlin&state=MO&ref=%24ref&se=%24se&doby=00&city=&name_style=1
I also recall a news article which said there was another adopted brother named James.
That's his father's name and his brother's name, Sr. and Jr. They're both showing that Holmes address along with 5-6 others, as is Patrick with about 6 different ones.
"Jamie" is a Webster Groves 4th grade teacher.
Omigosh, thank you. I looked all over that O website and couldn't find any pix except that little thumbnail of just the Akerses.
Wow, everyone sure looks happier than even the "day of". Best wishes to them all. Hope to catch the show today.
I suspect it's jealousy. Now Oprah has the story, because why on earth would the Akers grant an interview to BOR. People who work at FOX cater to BOR like he wields a lot of power. (The F & F crew was doing their usual suck-up to him this morning, on another matter.)
I'll bet BOR is one of the biggest problems FNC has right now, and it's may be one of the reasons they've lost a lot of viewers. I haven't watched his show in years, but I smell his influence in this radical left turn the station has made.
I finally caught a rerun of last night's show and I have to say I think O'Reilly is in retreat mode right now and his shot about them going on Oprah was a way to divert the conversation. He is now trying to frame himself as being concerned about Shawn. Notice, he didn't say anything about his stupid theory last night and, in the e-mail segment, claimed he was merely asking questions and could be wrong. He's in exit strategy mode now.
I can't figure why BOR is behaving in this manor. Shawn HORNbeck is a child and it is like BOR has forgot that. So sad.
If I had a story to tell I'd go on Oprah because she is compassionte, respected, and a professional. I may not like her personally, but why is BOR going to trash the Hornbeck family for going on Oprah? Would he rather they tell their story to the tabloids? Geez!
I agree. In coming days he will talk less and less about this or if he does he will slowly start defending the kids, rather than bash them!
This whole I'm asking questions bit is pathetic. He is suppose to be a no spin guy, but that is nothing but spin! Asking questions is pointing fingers!
...a great opportunity to put a focus on child abductions..
&&
And exactly what will the Oprah type focus achieve? All of her brainless viewers will "feel the pain". Big deal. Constructive focus would work toward hanging perverts like the one guilty of these heinous crimes. I am sure most of the Opraphites are against capital punishment, and probably some are for NMBLA.
I say USE OPRAH. I will watch and I never watch Oprah.
And I understand Oprah donated one million dollars to the Shawn Hornbeck Foundation which actively helps other parents on searches not just a nice sounding organization. So unless you can put up one million to help the kids I don't think you have the right to criticize Oprah on this matter. I doubt there are many people who watch Oprah who support NMBLA. That is a far fetched statement. Probably a few, but you can find those weirdos everywhere even in churches.
He didn't merely "ask questions". He flat-out stated he "didn't buy" the Stockholm Syndrome explanation -- not that he didn't understand it, he didn't buy it. He flat-out suggested that the boy didn't seek help because he enjoyed a life without school. He made a fool of himself and I would be surprised if he ever apologizes. He will simply retreat slowly and hope people will forget what he said. I won't!
The most bizarre moment to me was close to the end when he told Greta that, he has a bad feeling about this case, and then expanded on that by saying that nothing good will come from the case, then corrected himself to say, well, at least the awful Devlin will be locked up and not get out, oh and one other thing, the boys were found safe. BUT THAT'S THE ONLY GOOD THING THAT WILL COME OF THIS.
What an idiotic thing to say. DUH. The only good thing is that the perp will be put away and the boys are safe. Other than that, I, Bill O'Reilly, have a bad feeling about this case that nothing good will come of it.
WHAT ON EARTH WAS HE BABBLING ABOUT??
Is it possible he was drunk???
Oprah has been very active in going against pedophiles. She has made it her mission to catch them and I think at least 2 of her shows have been directly responsible for apprehending sex offenders who were on the lam. I'm beginning to think O'Reilly is all about driving up his ratings while jumping in front of the populist parade. Oprah was a victim of child molestation herself. I'm not generally one for the "Oprah" mentality but, on the issue of sexual abuse, Oprah gets it -- O'Reilly doesn't.
Once again, he is trying to jump in front of the parade. Many people are questioning whether or not there were more victims than just Shawn and Ben. O'Reilly wants to jump in there and pretend he saw it coming before anyone else did. He's just trying to divert from his prior asinine comments.
