Why do I have a feeling he's about to drop all the charges? Just a hunch...
It's scandalous that this is the FIRST time Nifong has met w/her. Must not think she'll show up Feb. 5 since she got a supeono (sp.).

Good for Rae Evans! When I first learned that Mr. Evans is a distinguished DC lawyer, I knew Nifong had landed in a big bucket of "tar" from which he will never escape.
ABC Radio just reported that Nifong requested he be removed as lead on this case. No link yet.

Impoverished intellect and spirit? Little does Holloway realize that she is the incarnation of her own accusation. One might say she is the "hollow way" of intellect and spirit epitomized.
It ain't over yet. In fact, the boys and their families are just getting warmed up when it comes to addressing their many justified grievances against Nifong, Durham County, the DPD, and Duke.
I doubt if any of them will quit. The reason I think this is because there haven't been any leaks or information coming out of that office, and they've assisted Nifong in hiding from the press.
Cut a deal with whom? Who's going to undertake a prosecution against him? The agreement/conspiracy to obstruct justice was undertaken in another county, but we've heard nothing out of the DA for that county. That doesn't mean s/he's not acting (very silently), but it sure doesn't mean s/he is.
Nifong gone from the case. Next step should be indicting Nifong.
