Did Boorz broadcast today.

Boortz was on today. When this story broke in Atlanta, Boortz and gang were laughing about a $10,000 42-year old hooker. I doubt that he would have been that upfront insulting his own hooker on national radio that way.

loved Bruce Williams' show when I was in college, but I have lost track of him. Is he still dispensing wisdom and saying "Welcome to my world..."? :)

Me too. Bruce and Bob Grant turned me on to talk radio. I was actually on the air with Bruce a couple of times. No idea what happened to him.

If they broadcaster today, my guy says they are probably in the clear. Then again, it could be that burrito I had for lunch! Wait and see!

Oh, bah, that'd be a pretty blatant example of prosecutorial abuse, if that was the case.

There's no such thing anymore.

Arrests may end some of the speculation among Taylor's neighbors in the gated Sugarloaf Country Club, home to some of Atlanta's most prominent business people, politicians, celebrities and sports figures.

Porter would not say who the warrants were for but said he did not recognize any of the names. The women's customers have been described by Porter as doctors, lawyers and businessmen.

He said his prosecution of Taylor and Probert isn't meant to simply embarrass people of prominence or wealth.

"It's not like we're going to take a list and nail it to the courthouse door," said Porter.

In addition to warrants on drug and pandering charges issued Tuesday night, the district attorney's office expects to make at least four more arrests of customers later, Porter said. "I would say that the next four more warrants will be for customers," Porter said.

SURELY, if it were someone as high profile as Rush, he would have given more of a clue as to who it was? Wouldn't he?

Dr. Gene Scott

I just caught Melissa Scott's act on the tube the other day.....incredible, she was up to her kiester in Greek, Hebrew, Syriac, and even Ethiopic (ancestor of modern Amharic). She was putting up scriptural quotes, parallel texts, going crazy on her lesson, putting this stuff up in dead syllabaries and alphabets on a whiteboard in her own hand, going right to left in some languages and left to right in Greek (I could read some of that) and Ethiopic (whooaa!). The lesson was to explicate some obscure and haggled-over verses about the timing of the millennial kingdom of the Messiah.

I really dig scary-smart women. Melissa's a piece of work. Her daddy must have spent extra time teaching her -- Greek and Hebrew, I'll bet. Never cared for the old man myself, thought him self-indulgent and too wrapped up in his "big daddy" thing, and horses. But this woman's like the blade of a sword -- no funny stuff, all business!

"...You women won't understand. 70% of men's waking hours are devoted to thinking about the act of procreation, maybe 5 % doing it if they are lucky, and another 15% simulating it. (And still they manage to do everything else"

I don't believes your numbers. That only leaves 10% of their time available for farting and watching football.

Yeah, but we can multitask. We can do all of those theings while farting and watching football (and listening to women talk about their "feelings").

It's a teaser headline - he didn't even use the word 'conservative' so it could be anybody - a late night guy, a shock jock, whatever.
