How I met the love of my life. Well I was on my way to do a radio broadcast of a HS basketball game and I stopped at the quicky mart right next to my house for a bottle of water and a newspaper and I saw this absolutely beautiful redhead training behind the counter. She smiled at me and I was a goner.
We got to know each other over the next year and became good friends...I asked her out on a couple of dates but never got a response. Something told me to keep trying. My best friend managed the store and I told him one time that all I needed was "one date and she'd be mine". I'd never in my life felt that certain about anything or anyone.
Finally one night I was in the store and she asked me "so when are you going to take me out on a date"? After I picked myself up off the floor I said..."how about tonite?"...she agreed and it was a date.
On January 24th 2007...it will have been 6 years since that first date. We have been together ever since...after six years together and 4 1/2 years of marriage...she truly is the love of my life.
I love you sweetheart.

It went really good. Everyone at the Pentagon Channel was pleased with what I did.
Hopefully I'll get my copy of the broadcast this week so I can go back and watch it.

Another Match.com success story here. We were both widowed about the same time, and were ready to get on with life. We agreed to meet at a restaurant in Delray Beach. From previous email exchanges, we knew that neither smoked. We started dating, and today is our fourth anniversary.
