How I met the love of my life. Well I was on my way to do a radio broadcast of a HS basketball game and I stopped at the quicky mart right next to my house for a bottle of water and a newspaper and I saw this absolutely beautiful redhead training behind the counter. She smiled at me and I was a goner.
We got to know each other over the next year and became good friends...I asked her out on a couple of dates but never got a response. Something told me to keep trying. My best friend managed the store and I told him one time that all I needed was "one date and she'd be mine". I'd never in my life felt that certain about anything or anyone.
Finally one night I was in the store and she asked me "so when are you going to take me out on a date"? After I picked myself up off the floor I said..."how about tonite?"...she agreed and it was a date.
On January 24th 2007...it will have been 6 years since that first date. We have been together ever since...after six years together and 4 1/2 years of marriage...she truly is the love of my life.
