Please don't blame all of Mississippi for Bennie Thompson! He only represents one district of my fair, soon to be home, state.

This morning, there were two men in the back of a Silverado in my driveway and one of them was "me". Should I call and report me to someone? I would rather not have Fox News showing up at my house and screwing up my Sunday afternoon.

My take on this is the FBI was involved early on and this was an ongoing investigation. Hey look here everybody we caught some terrorist, showboating IMHO. The FBI just doesn't give out info like this unless they want publicity. Like the ATF at Waco, inviting the media to record the raid when it went all wrong.

Sort of hard to shut down a port and NOT be noticed.

In the Port of Miami? Did they drive to get there? That's one hell of a truck!

Well I saw a Hummer commercial that touted an option that allows you to turn it into a submarine! I bet that is one expensive option though.

Gee, I'm sure glad we almost sold port security to Dubai. This would have never happened under the competent leadership of some sheik. /sarc

I just heard Brian Wilson say that the FBI has arrested all three men and that the two in the back were confirmed by their sources to be ME men.

What I want to know is what was in the back of the truck with them.

We probably shouldn't discuss in much detail on a public forum, but there had to be a security measure in use that allowed the authorities to KNOW there were two other people in the back of the truck before they asked the driver the question.

I'm thinking that's what you meant. Or not.

Fox just had a screen that said they were illegals.

But, but I thought illegals were good. I am so confused.

Five years into the war on terror, most Americans desperately hoped 2006 would be "the year" for solutions to the long national nightmare of intentionally unsecured borders and the resulting illegal immigration crisis. For many, the dream was that at a minimum, we would begin to see border security and immigration law enforcement similar to what Mexicans still living in Mexico enjoy. It didn't happen. According to a report released in late 2006 by the House Committee of Homeland Security, up to 10 million people entered the United States illegally and un-inspected last year. Georgia watched as its population of...
