Doesn't Biden subscribe to the notion that America is wrong ? His demeanor shouts exactly the opposite. Not exactly the kind of guy I want projectiing our image around the world. I prefer W's approach.
How dare you call fights on FR silly! Them's fighting words!

I love it! Best post of the day!
I went to my old neighborhood yesterday to visit my mother, who is in the hospital. As I drove past the hospital, a minivan passed the other way, with a Christmas tree tied to the hood. Bet they got a good price for that one.
I used to feel like Marilyn Munster when I left a large gathering of my family, but not it feels like the whole neighborhood was like that!
Thanks, I will forward your advice to her post haste.
It will be difficult because the renter is a former neighbor and friend.
I am a real estate attorney and have done lots of landlord/tenant work. I second everything PD said, and in particular the no verbal communication admonition. I shall now refer to it as the Pukin Doctrine.
I think Brent Scowcroft is an example of a person who manages to sound very profound and informed while not actually knowing or understanding anything. John Warner is another.
I agree it is safe haven
They ignore the "or raise taxes" option. Count on it.
You are mean and cruel to point such things out.
I like it!
Amen! Thank You For the link!
Dennis Kucinich (?) coming up on Blitz show (LE) on his thoughts about Iraq.
I'm betting he wants us to bomb hell out of Iran. <sarcasm
If we or Israel do not call Iran to task, the Iraq war will be ongoing and probably un-winnable. The "supplier of arms, money, and manpower" to the terrorists should be dealt with and dealt with harshly. Very harshly.
Precisely. And it is very simple to state that, as you have just demonstrated. How hard would it be for Republicans to do the same?
Small dogs are some of the most vicious I've ever seen. The one time we went to a dog park to wear our Labs out before a long drive up to Tahoe, there was NO ONE on the large dog side to play with, so we got the permission of the small dog owners for our fellahs to play with the small dogs (our guys love everybody almost to a pacifist fault).
This Pomerian immediately comes up to Frank and starts *nipping at his legs*! Frank's completely confused and starts running-- he knows he'll be in trouble if he fights back-- the vicious little lintball keeps it up. Long story short, no harm done, but just confirmed my low opinion of small dogs. You ask me, dogs that small are Dr. Moreau-style bad-tempered weasels.
'pay-go' is nothing but an excuse to raise taxes'
I don't even give it that much credit.
It is nothing, period.
But an attempt to look as if they are DOING something good when they are doing nothing at all of any consequence.
Of course, it is an excuse to raise taxes, but when have they ever needed an excuse?
This time, it will be harder. It won't be so neatly contained as it was then.
That about sums it up
Frank is smart.
When I see anyone walking one of those stupid little chihuawas (that's another thing to hate -- you can't spell their stupid little names) ...
anyway, I want to shout out the car window... GET A DOG!
But, that wouldn't be prudent, would it?
