Brigitte (to those of you who have not heard of her) is a Lebanese Christian now living in the US who was a former news anchor on TV; an eloquent speaker who is telling her personal experiences with Muslims. This is found on youtube and most videos posted there don’t get to stay long so I’d suggest you thru off your TV and turn this on ASAP.

This is part one of a 7 series (they are all there) sequence and last almost an hour on high speed downloads. You don’t have to watch them all at once, most are about 9 minutes long, but please take the time to watch and listen and share. You don’t hear this in our liberal press.

Good luck with you head in the sand friends...there are a lot of them out there. Those people just don't think there is a problem. From listening to them, I think they believe that the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans will protect us. But they didn't even do that in the War of 1812.

Constantly taking issue with that kind of person is a hard, uphill battle but like somebody else posted here, if they hear it enough maybe they will think things through...I don't believe they are stupid for the most part, just in denial. I also believe their irrational hatred of W plays a part.

I read "Because They Hate" before Christmas. It was riveting. I will watch the videos. Gabriel is doing everybody a huge service by her actions.

Thanks for the post. I've seen her on many occassions and she's riveting each time. This is the first time I've seen her speech at the heritage foundation giving her an uninterupted platform. What got me was the question and answer session afterwards, typical liberal BS.

She puts a human face on material we all know and have known for a long time. Of course it does lead me to wonder why there was such a fetish for making Arafat our kind of guy...but that is water over the dam.

I believe that the Moslems started the First Crusade. I believe that Moslems now want Armageddon. When at least half the population of the United States are supporters of Islamists, what chance do we have? Where do we start?

I've taken another direction when I speak to people who defend Muslims...I tell them they're racist. When they Muslims, they are basically saying that a) They don't believe what Muslims say and b) they don't believe Muslims have the ability to do what they say. In other words, they believe them to be inferior.

I, on the other hand, respect Muslims enough to believe them when they tell me they want to kill me.

I'm trying to figure out how we go beyond the choir. We "get it" here but many of our friends and countrymen have a wall up which prevents them from seeing reality. 9-11 knocked it down for some and Brigitte Gabriel seems to help too. What else works besides another 9-11?

Our government's success in protecting us has also made it difficult for people to see reality.

I understand and I have a response that is direct and truthful, but hurts just the same.

Ignorance is not bliss. Some people are willfully ignorant. They do not want to change. The reality is that these people are "stuck on stupid."

If all news agencies were required to report the arrests and timely BOL's for suspected terrorists at the start of each news broadcast; maybe more people would understand just how widespread terrorism and terrorists are.

I've had the privilege of knowing lots of people from Islamic countries or countries that were on the fronts of the Islamic crusade (India especially). People in the US just don't realize what true Islam is about, why Lebanon had a civil war, or basically anything but Britney Spears and Tom Cruise. They don't want to know either. We criticize Europeans for being blind, but our masses are no different. Thank God Mexico is on our border and not Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Libya, et al. because our businesses and politicians would welcome them in for the cheap labor just as fast.

Islam is a form of slavery, and it will begin to die at some point because ultimately people reject oppression...ultimately. What horrors we will see before this comes about no one knows, and it may be many years yet. I think at some point watered-down Islam, like one sees in Turkey, Dubai, Indonesia, or Bangladesh will gain in popularity. Fundamentalist Islam feeds on hate, and after awhile, people just get tired of hating.
