Ms. Berens claims that the League of Conservation Voters is "not a left-wing group", so I'd take this article with a grain of salt.

Forget it Chuck, unless you're talking about running in a RAT primary.

Since every other snowball seems to think they have a chance in hell, I guess I'll test the Presidential waters too.

No thanks. Although Chuck's entry into the race will further muddy the waters for the RINO/liberal wing of the party. So in that respect, I'm all for a Hegal candidacy.

I hope he gives Hillary a run in the primaries....

Well, Hagel's on my list. Just in front of Linc Chaffee.

If this guy gets the nomination, I'll not only sit out the '08 election, I'll give up on politics forever.

Doesn't Hagel have a big drawback in that he's an idiot, to put it mildly?
To: MinnesotaLibertarian
I showed the Democrats that I can help them. I stuck it to my president when he needed me most, etc, but, hey, no one will notice it that much. These are different times.

Yet another Senator gazing with deep adoration upon the figure in the mirror. In 120 years, there have been TWO sitting Senators elected to the Presidency (Kennedy in 1960 and Harding in 1920--before that Benjamin Harrison). There are good reasons for this.
