Developing Story
Shooting at Tacoma high school - Students at Foss High School in Tacoma are being released following a shooting in the parking lot of the school. One student has been taken to the hospital. Parents are asked to pick up their kids between 8:30 and 9 a.m.
E. D. Hill just reported the shooting victim has died on the way to the hiospital
Saw a lot of people standing around out in the parking lot, that's unexpected if the shooter is somewhere unknown.

Coulda been a crossbow. Or a ballista, such as I'm building for this weekend's fruitcake tossing festivities....
I'm sure our betters know what they are doing...
Well, I guess we know what our detective-in-law is doing this morning. :-)
We like to think!...

TACOMA, Wash. - Tacoma Police say a student was shot and killed this morning at Foss High School.
Police are searching for the gunman.

The victim was taken to a local hospital. He died of his injuries.
A student who called KING 5 News from his home said he believes the shooting occurred inside the school at about 7:20 a.m., before classes began.
"A friend of mine came running into the classroom saying someone had been shot and there was blood on the lockers," said Cameron, a 10th grade student.
Police initially locked down the school and later allowed students to leave.
School has been canceled for the day. Buses are arriving to take students to Wilson High School, where parents can pick them up.
There were no other injuries reported.
Well... the fuzziness blossoms. That reporter has it inside the school in a hallway.
That the perp is apparently "known to police" I think tells us most of what we need to know.
FNC reporting male student victim died in ambulance to hospital. He was also under 16.
I just heard on the radion news a STUDENT HAS DIED as a result of this shooting.
Opps! radion= radio
Didn't take long after the RATs took charge did it? Look for another effort at gun control.
I hope not.
There'll be a certain freak-out by the usual suspects in school administration. Metal detectors and whatnot. "Reaching out" to gangs. Yadda yadda yadda.
FNC just said search for shooter has been called off. Odd statement. Maybe the guy turned himself in or was arrested.
