"Saddam Hussein is now taking his rightful place alongside Hitler, Stalin, Lenin and Ceausescu in the pantheon of failed, brutal dictators and the Iraqi people are well on their way to freedom." - Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, Apr. 9, 2003.

"Yet the safety and security of the American people require that we not relent in ensuring that Iraq's young democracy continues to progress."

Hear, hear, Mr. President!

I just had a funny thought. Kofi and the cats at the U.N. doing a cover of Tom T. Hall's The Ballad of Forty Bucks at Saddam's funeral.

Excellent remarks, and well-salted with a whole lotta mentions of "the Iraqi people".

"We are reminded today of how far the Iraqi people have come since the end of Saddam Hussein's rule and that the progress they have made would not have been possible without the continued service and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform. "

I was hoping to see a combination of "they", "hung", "his", "hide".

I think Pelosi is crying in her pillow.

Bush Sr. said something in private that I would have loved to hear, I bet....

"Capital punishment is inhuman, and using the execution of another human being for political gain is morally wrong." So say the Liberal Socialist Democrat pundits, who are seeking to create an image of President Bush as a self created tyrant. I was listening to some fem socialist moonbat broadcaster on AM radio yesterday, who was accusing our president of genocide, and whooping it up over the New Moral majority ( Dems).

The Dems are truly a sick bunch of propagandists, who are indeed using Saddam's execution as political fodder.Yet if you show them pictures of gassed Kurds of Halapja, they go into a kind of dumb mind lock.

I look forward to many more executions of those Iraqis complicit in the gassing of thousands of Kurds. And I hope the pictures of the executed, swinging in a dry Iraqi wind, are circulated to every Muslim community of the face of this earth.

Why is it that there is such swift justice in Iraq, but not in America???

Too many serial killers, like the Green River killer, Gary Ridgeway get life in prison.

President Bush's unspoken thoughts...

"The bas**rd tried to kill my father! My father! Well, I sent an army half-way around the world and killed his cousins, his brothers, his sons and now I got him! Justice is served!"

[ Fair trials were unimaginable under Saddam Hussein's tyrannical rule. ]

Or in Nifong's North Carolina..
Or in prosecuting Sandy Burgular..
Or in Impeaching Bill Clinton...
Or in prosecuting murderers in Mexifornia(O.J.)..

Only the elite have a license to steal.. anywhere..
Wonder what justice COSTS these days in Boston?...

BAGHDAG BOB REPORTING LIVE FROM THE AIRPORT: "The news that our beloved leader Saddam has been hanged are greatly exaggerated!!! Saddam is alive, in control, in the capital, and still leading the valiant fight against the Americans. I swear it."
