I just simply can't understand you Americans obsession with Thatcher.Her husbands business dealings were 'suspect' to say the least.The woman's 'privatising'of the public utilities was a scandal and now we have to rely on the French for our water supplies and even worse the Russians for our gas supplies and her son would never be allowed to enter your country because of his criminal past and his own nefarious business dealings with the Saudis including a commission of millions of dollars for doing NOTHING arranged by his mother. She wasn't Conservative or even right wing...she was 'self self self wing'.
