Dear Rev. Jesse Jackson.
You like Sadam so much and you want to "break the cycle of violence in Iraq." Then go in his place. Go directly to the Iraqi citizens and demand to go in Sadam's place and free Sadam. Time to put-up or shut-up you phony SOB!

After just visiting the Rosa Parks museum in Montgomery I can only say this of Jesse Jackson;
You, Jesse, have squandered all of what you earned as a man who early on had the potential of being a great person. You have traded away your early accomplishments with MLK and others in the civil rights movement for any and all fame you can get by whatever means. You no longer believe in empowerment but rather support entitlement. You have no place to call yourself a "Reverend" when you traded your morality for pleasure resulting in children outside of marriage. And even though I could speak longer on the subject I'll just cut to the chase...you have ZEO credibility to speak to anything going on in Iraq where the sovereign government will make the decision regarding the former tyrant dictator Saddam.

>>>Wonder if Jesse's view would be any different if Saddam had massacred African-Americans instead of Kurds and Shiites?
Remember Charles Taylor? Foday Sankoh? Jackson doesn't care about the massacre of anyone. Only who will be paying him off, giving him bribes, and/or donations.

Jesse's probably ticked he missed his chance to cash in on some of Saddam's oil for food money - one of the few shakedowns he's missed.

Sharpton mentions that when he talks about Jackson as a hustler. Jackson was around king when he died. And kept wearing the blood around the next day on tv.

"making Saddam spend the rest of his life in prison would be a better way to "break the cycle of violence in Iraq.""
Let's make a deal with Jesse. We'll do the above if he'll allow "letting the unborn spend the rest of their time in the womb."!!!
