Mike Nifong has demonstrated that he is not ethically or professionally fit to prosecute a littering case, much less the sexual assault case involving three Duke lacrosse players.

And all those years as Assistant DA were by political appointment including his present DA gig. He wasn't going to lose and played dirty.....real dirty. I now think the first judge is "dirty", too since Grand Juries usually follow the judges "direction". Don'tcha wonder at the makeup of that jury...hint, hint.
Unless Nifong goes to jail justice will not be done.
Obviously Nifong is not going to jail.
Therefore, justice will not be done.

I believe there is no judge in a grand jury setting. The grand jury meets, the DA presents prima facie evidence of a crime and the grand jury either votes to indict or no bill. [Prima facie evidence is just enough on first look to believe a crime was committed.]
Is Nifong following up on the DNA left by five men, one or more of whom might have assaulted her? Or is he protecting those creeps? Someone in his office or police department? A nonwhite lacrosse player? As I understand, DBA was taken only from white players.
Way past 'bout time, if you ask me!
According to a N.C. State professor, he can be disbarred!
I'm afraid nothing will happen, but evidently the powers that be in North Carolina have had enough.

One small part of question number one was answered when it was discovered that he was withholding exculpatory information from the defense. But essentially, both questions still need to be answered in full!

That's not true .. he does owe an apology and in every national and international newspaper, magazine, tv and radio station .. he pimped this into a case that was covered worldwide. The lax coach lost his job, the young men are smeared with this for life (before their lives even really started). Oh, he owes BIG TIME. Screw the morons in Durham who elected him... they got exactly what they deserve.
Why do these cowardly judges who have been lied to by Nifong simply sit there with their thumbs up their rear-ends? Who prosecutes the prosecutor? At least the State Bar is doing something (finally) but what weight do "ethics charges" carry? Are they as meaningless as they are to Congressmen?

I'm thankful to not be paying tuition to that Duke dump.
Normally, my basement business...But, sometimes, I seem to end up in very intersting places.
They are "winners of life's lottery" and for that they must be punished.
