Sounds like the writer has a "guilty of something even if they are proved innocent" point of view. Since he's already figured out that Nifong blew this case, should he be calling the victims of this injustice "louts"?

From the spewed venom toward the Lacrosse players, I'd say that the writer is probably a Feminazi. Pukes like this love to get on editorial boards where they can impugn people and never reveal their name.

Anyone who can put their own personal/political needs above the sanctity of justice, and cause this much damage in the process - monetary, emotional, mental, and social repercussions to these 3 young men's lives, by refusing to follow state laws and procedures, and ethical obligations while in a position of power deserves to absorb the full monetary cost of this malicious prosecution, as well as any other sanctions available by the state, bar, civil and federal systems.

[Woody] Vann said the many of the things complained about, including the belated disclosure of the DNA results, can be explained away as oversights or poor judgment - not misconduct on Nifong's part. "He did spend 28 years in the DA's office of being involved with cases of all nature - some, many as serious and more serious than this one - where he has performed his job at the highest standards," the lawyer said.

That may be true, but he was not running for political office during those years. Political power changes a person, many times for the worse.

The complaint accuses him of breaking four rules of professional conduct when speaking to the reporters about the high-profile case.

Among the rules the bar complaint says Nifong violation is a prohibition on making, "comments that have a substantial likelihood of heightening public condemnation of the accuser."

Wow, I guess the other attorneys and other DAs of this world don't want Nifong to bring them down with himself.

No we want Pelosi to celebrate and let the public know all the things she wants to do. We want her to get lots of publicity.

I asked the other day so thank you. I assumed it was in January because that seemed to be the time frame that Nifong wanted to get past, i.e., he would become an "elected" DA and not a mere appointment.

He'll reap the benees, serve out his term and retire just a little wealthier. Disbarment and/or civil suits take a long time.

Everyone seems to ignore the Governor that appointed him......and so, I believe that's where "one" of Nifongs secrets lies and I believe it connects back Meehan.

The "second" secret is connected to the Police Chief "disappearing". I believe he knew what was going on and "didn't want to be a part of it".

Follow the money?? No, follow the politics.

I cannot believe the accuser (aka skanky whore with much of Durham in her.....well you get the picture) comes into play.
